States across the country are being told to stop the supplemental nutrition assistance program for the month of November, pending further notice.

“Last Saturdays EBT glitch was probably just a test and a warning shot to the GOP.”
I never once believed in the “glitch” claim. I find it aggravating that we are being led to this place and into a nightmare that never had to be. It’s going to be a rough ride.
God save the Republic....
LOL. Yeah right. I was one of them. Food storage and LDS welfare are for LDS only. Gentiles are on their own..they should have ‘followed the prophet’.
How about asking other exmo’s. We don’t have a reason to lie. LDS do. They want you to think they will help, but reality is far different.
You seem to forget that the type of people who would riot over something like this is only a small percentage of those on food stamps. Disabled veterans get them. So do old folks on Social Security and the recently unemployed. These are the people who will suffer the most. Rioters, on the other hand, will be a temporary nuisance. Quickly and easily crushed by Obama’s storm troopers, and an excuse to bring in martial law.
Thanks for the clarification.
No doubt that this past weekend was a “trial run.”
Food stamps go to 47 million Americans a month, almost half of them children and teenagers. A two-year stimulus bump in food stamp benefits will expire Oct. 31, prompting new worries for families.I'm wondering if the above is what they're really referring to?Starting in 2009, the federal stimulus pumped $45.2 billion into SNAP, increasing what would have been a monthly benefit of $588 a month to $668 for an average household of four. In November, that same family will start getting $632 a month, about a 5 percent cut.
“...If they are feeling froggy, ...”
It would appear that they are indeed feeling froggy, brother...
It does look like there's an effort to make people think that the long-scheduled end to the stimulus bump in food stamps on Nov 1, will be spun to be the fault of Republicans due to the shutdown, rather than the truth that the expansion was just temporary.
LOL.....
I stand corrected, thanks. However, it remains to be seen if they will avail themselves of this opportunity.
If they did, it would put a lot of other churches on the spot to do the same.
Big difference, Americans are ARMED to the teeth.
“However, it remains to be seen if they will avail themselves of this opportunity.”
Without question the Mormons on whole have taken significant steps in that direction but individual Mormons not so much. I know a few and none of them have any provisions. They knew all about all this but they felt is was silly and not worth their time.
LDS Welfare is for LDS only, and they will also restrict help to non-active and non-worthy LDS members also. They only continue to help them as long as they attend services, give up their vices and so forth.
.....Or rather a second revolt.
It appears you are assuming that WTSHTF and the EBT cards stop working, you’ll be able to REASON with the leeches as to whose fault it is. You must be one heck of a persuader!
Seems the EBT computer glitch was a dry run... dems want to pit their ‘dependent class’ against the rest of us. Hot class warfare... so communist...
This plan is evil.
Rather, they will blame those in power.
