The D.C. police seemed OK to me. They hardly seemed ready to shoot to kill anyone. Nevertheless, if police ever DO start shooting peaceful demonstrators, then it will be on in spades. We should all fear that, because the outcome wouldn’t be clear and millions of innocents could be caught up in it.

I wish to remind these “Park Police”, that they are that, only while on duty.
They are not “park police”, getting their cafe’ drinks, their groceries, etc.
Veterans are veterans, from the day they step off the boat, or off the aircraft, in the uniform of this country, to perform their duties and missions in theaters of war.
