The Republican Party was born in the darkest days of the American Republic.
In the next few days it will die.
The Republican Party saved the Union and abolished slavery. The Republican Party stood against Franklin Roosevelts internment of Japanese Americans during World War II and against Jim Crow laws in the 50s.
On a hot summer day, the most famous Republican of the Twentieth Century stood before one of the great icons of tyranny, and over the objection of his cowardly, country club Republican advisors, Ronald Reagan demanded, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!
In 1975, Reagan told conservatives to raise a banner of bold colors, not pale pastels. Todays Republican banner is the colorless banner of John Boehners freshly laundered white flag of surrender.
The Republican Party will die of suicide by cowardice.

Maybe they are still trying to figure out what loose elections are.
“NO...we are TAKING BACK the GOP!!!”
We?
No thanks. Let the ‘rats have it. I eagerly await a conservative second party.
You have it precisely!
It is time for conservatives to acknowledge that the Republican Party is no longer the political vehicle for conservatism and move on.
There will be early bumps in the road and certain obstacles to overcome, but conservatives and, most importantly, conservatism, will better off and more effective.
Cruz / Palin 2016.
An added benefit of this ticket.....it will piss off every liberal in the country......and every RINO (same thing).
I’ll stay registered R only to vote in primaries -— but I will set on my hands rather than support a RINO in the general elections.
Haha...good luck with that
Go Ted!
Go Sarah!
Go Alan!
Go Louie!
GO TEA PARTY!!!
President Reagan, unlike most of his Cold War predecessors, stated the objective clearly and simply: Heres my strategy on the Cold War: We win; they lose.
For me, that is the attitude we need to have during these very troubling times. “ We win; they lose.
That’s a great point. We must back it up though. We tend to make fun of liberals when they use their usual platitudes, but we’ve also been guilty of some that as well.
If we declare that we’re out to win, then we need to actually go win. We can’t back down at the first sight of serious resistance or a difficult obstacle.
The Republican party is dead. Long live the Tea Party!
It sure would separate the wheat from the chaff in a hurry if the Tea Party registered as a national political party right now.
Be interesting to see how quickly the TP overtook the RP.
Actually, the Democrats did a disappearing act first when the liberal socialists hijacked the party. The only Democrats left are John McCain and other assorted RINOs.
The Tea Party is made up of the remaining Republicans who believe this is one nation under God. The Judeo Christian God of the Bible. This is the party Reagan belonged to....the now-called Tea Party.
That's actually my personal preference, but if it proves impossible, the Republicrats will leave the people no other choice but to form a second national party.
You said: “TIME FOR THE FORMATION OF A NEW PARTY LED BY CRUZ AND PALIN.”
The leaders are correct, but a third party [right now] will destroy the country. Not a good thing.
We are changing the party, just not as fast as we would like.
I live in virginia 11th and if it were not for 1500 cement heads Kerry Connolly would not be my congressfatass.
This year cement heads are helping Hillary’s terry McAwful...
Good summary.
You are correct. GOPe is perfectly willing to ride into battle...with US.
“This year cement heads are helping Hillarys terry McAwful...”
Yep, and cement heads across the state will will be helping
Hillary in 2026.
It may very well die, and good riddance, but the true Conservative party will rise to take its place.
