On the Chuck Brooks Law-Call hour, 12:00-1:00 pm, Saturday October 10, on the Baltimore station WCBM, two separate callers stated that the "Food Stamp System" was not working at several Baltimore grocery stores. The second caller mentioned that folks in the store were blaming Republicans.
I cannot personally confirm these reports. Are other Freepers noticing this in their locations?
Whatever. Remember when we were promised riots if the jury acquited George Zimmerman? Didn't happen. If they want to riot for food, just keep it from spreading out of their neighborhoods.
Also there needs to be some messaging. That message would be....you're government is BROKE and if it keeps passing bills for more free stuff it can't afford, you'll end up in even worse shape.
Assume the person was not allowed to leave with his items. Reaction?
Maybe it was done on purpose as a test
Ava Gardner & Grace Kelly, what a pair.
There are no Republicans in Baltimore
It is down in Mississippi as well.
Now there’s a report that EBT system is down in Virginia too - http://www.wset.com/story/23675340/virginia-ebt-system-down-state-wide
It’s written in the script of Baltimordor, which I shall not utter here, but means, “One card to bring them in and in the darkness bind them.”
Oh these are sad times etc. etc.

Most of them buy all of their taxpayer funded free food in the first 10 days of a month. Considering they pay no attention to the economy, they never bother to look and see that food prices are way up. Most of them are probably already ticked off that they aren’t getting enough ebt oomph to have steak, lobster, crab legs, shrimp, and ribs but 2 days a month now. I am certain all will be well soon.
Things that make one go hmmmm?
The Wash DC NPR classic music station has been running those emergency broadcast tests weekly for the last month and a half.
Wow!
This could be an interesting Columbus Day weekend.
Coinky dink? I think not.
Someone is throwing some lighter fluid on the warm coals.
OOPS! Michigan, sorry.
LOL! I saw “Mogambo” in the movie theater as a boy when it first released. Eva was my first crush (sigh). I suspect she and the entire “safari” film genre was responsible for all the years I eventually spent working in Africa.
And on a weekend no less !
