Earlier this week, bad news arrived in mailboxes across New Jersey, as people discovered their health-insurance plans had been wiped out by ObamaCare. Plans that didnt measure up to the mandates imposed by the Affordable Care Act were being canceled, despite President Obamas infamous vow that if you like your health care plan, youll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.
How many folks in New Jersey were affected by this latest failure of Obamas campaign promises? Oh, only about eight hundred thousand or so. The Star-Ledger reports this development surprised some who were unaware that provisions in the new law known as Obamacare were forcing insurance companies to scrap some plans they had previously offered.
Big Government plus low-information voters equals wacky hijinks! Some are optimistic that satisfactory new plans will be developed to replace the attractive coverage they lost. Others are sounding a bit grumpy:

Unexpected!
Well heck who needs health insurance anyway? Just show up at the ER whenever you need something. Illegal aliens do it all the time.
“Eat your peas”.
I don’t feel sorry for those in NJ. They voted for the a$$ hole.
I’m thinking there may be an unintended benefit in this disaster. If enough doctors fire their insurance staff and go cash then for the first time since WWII we’ll have actual competition and price pressure.
It will be cheaper to pay cash instead of getting “insurance” and the service will be better. (I was one of those “the glass is half full” types. Then I realized the glass had been over-sized for the job.)
What’s Christie think about that?
All your base are belong to us.
You are right in your equation as it stands. Now add in hospitalization.

.
Bama ping.
“Bend over and spread them Chris and squeal like a pig .... it gives me a thrill when I hit those fat crackas”.
“You are right in your equation as it stands. Now add in hospitalization.”
Traditional hospitals are so regulated that they will never be cost competitive. They can’t play that game. But surgery clinics can and do. The several times I’ve been to them they cost only a fraction of what the hospital charged. The problem is you can’t STAY in one. It’s in and out only. But that might change in time.
I have been wondering if the Indians can build hospitals on tribal land...the heck with casinos - medical will be where the money’s at.
Why cant he be sued for fraud. If any other person went on tv and promised something and it didnt deliver, word for word what they promised they can be sued for fraud!
sit down for this folks....
I am in NJ..when I explained this fact to a Lib friend..he calmly explained to me the reason for this is not because of Obamacare but of Gov Christie’s failed leadership as governor
chasing the insurance companies away!
