Earlier this week, bad news arrived in mailboxes across New Jersey, as people discovered their health-insurance plans had been wiped out by ObamaCare. Plans that didnt measure up to the mandates imposed by the Affordable Care Act were being canceled, despite President Obamas infamous vow that if you like your health care plan, youll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.
How many folks in New Jersey were affected by this latest failure of Obamas campaign promises? Oh, only about eight hundred thousand or so. The Star-Ledger reports this development surprised some who were unaware that provisions in the new law known as Obamacare were forcing insurance companies to scrap some plans they had previously offered.
Big Government plus low-information voters equals wacky hijinks! Some are optimistic that satisfactory new plans will be developed to replace the attractive coverage they lost. Others are sounding a bit grumpy:

That’s why I don’t have any liberal friends. How can you even carry on a conversation with these halfwits?
That is an outstanding idea. Medical tourism and you don’t have to leave the States.
“I dont feel sorry for those in NJ. They voted for the a$$ hole.”
I hope the word spreads in the next few days here in NJ; can’t hurt Lonegan’s campaign against Booker.
“Thats why I dont have any liberal friends. How can you even carry on a conversation with these halfwits?”
I don’t, either; the ones that weren’t halfwits were sucking money out of my pockets (and my children’s mouths) with government jobs. It is impossible for people in the private sector (who are now competing with Asian collies for their jobs) to deal with gubmint workers.
Ping to the list! If anyone wants on or off the list, let me know and I’ll eventually get around toit!
Thanks, Bamahead, for the alert. I was off de-stressing from a most upsetting work week. I went to a spa here and got a deep conditioning treatment for my hair and a complete tip-to-toe massage. <$27!
I have coverage with Aetna via my employer whose address is in FL. My residence is in The Loveliest Village. I am physically next to the jungle in Papua, Indonesia. I do not know how this may affect me. At present, I do not care (although I should).
“I have been wondering if the Indians can build hospitals on tribal land...the heck with casinos - medical will be where the moneys at.”
That is a brilliant idea. It solves the problem of states and the federal government taking doctor’s licenses. Those doctors who won’t accept insurance and who practice for cash will likely lose their license. There is already legislation planned in Massachusetts to pull the license of any doctor who won’t accept Romneycare.
If the Indians can open tobacco outlets anywhere then they should be able to open hospitals anywhere. Doctors would be on indian land and therefore not in the United States. So they could practice there.

That sucks... (cough)
I had an awful week too :( Glad you got to treat yourself to a relaxation bonanza!
