European lawmakers this month will vote on a measure that promotes abortion as a fundamental human right, while taking aim at the conscientious objection rights of pro-life doctors and health workers.

Critics see the move as an attempt to dictate abortion policy to individual European Union governments, despite an acknowledgement by leading E.U. institutions that there is no consensus on the matter across the 28 member-states.

The controversial draft report, which is being promoted by socialist members of the European Parliament (MEPs), was passed last month by the legislature’s committee on women’s rights and gender equality. …

This is wrong. I am libertarian on many things and I am pro-life. The first right we all have is the right to life, without life, there is no liberty. The EU makes denying the right to life to be a “choice” but what about the aborted, they have no say in the matter. There are rare times you might need to abort such as the life of the mother, but those are rare or should be. The EU does not like liberty since they are allowing the denial of life along with their over-regulation in general. Killing the unborn is not a right.

Let’s give Europe some credit for being consistent. When it comes to its underlying social/political/economic philosophy, nothing has changed there in 80+ years.

Before condemning the EU we should look into a mirror.

Our highest court has officially declared that the murder of unborn children is acceptable.

And the unborn child has NONE!!! according to these pigs. A burning cell in hell awaits these people. Jesus loved little children. There are many scriptures concerning Him and His love for children. They are going to pay a price that they will regret for all eternity.

I wonder if Pelosi and Steinam will petition the pope to make it a sanctioned action in the Catholic Church?

*Headline should read: EU May Declare Killing Babies a ‘Human Right’*

Headline from the 1930’s might have read:
“Chaplin-looking Dictator May Declare Killing Jews a Human Right.”

Future headlines may read:

EU May Declare Killing Christians a ‘Human Right’

*keeping your earnings, living your own life and stuff*

Everything is the opposite of Common Sense to the Left.

Communists/Socialists/and a frightening number of Obama supporters believe that personal property is theft, but stealing your money and giving it to the government by force is not.

In “Liberal Fascism” Jonah Goldberg exposes the liberal origins of the eugenics movement. Many socialist heroes - H.G. Wells, Julian Huxley, Keynes, George Bernard Shaw - were all on board.

The fallacy of a woman’s “right to choose” is that she doesn’t “OWN” the human life (baby) in her womb.

There is no denying it is “human”. There is no denying it is alive. There is no denying it has it’s own unique DNA.

Try arranging, then carrying out the death of any other living human and see where you end up. Don’t even TRY to tell me it isn’t MURDER.

The lib kadres have this woodblock brain - many of the visions of Huxley and others were meant as probes and warnings. Instead they are taking them as manuals.

If women & doctors were able to be charged with murder along with their complicit male counterparts and complicit doctor’s assistants, would the number of abortions drop to almost ZERO.

If you drove someone to a place where you knew they were going to commit murder, you would be an accessory to murder.

So it follows, that if you drove someone to a place where you knew they were going to have an abortion (commit murder), you would be an accessory to murder.

Abortion would become one of those things “you just don’t do”. You don’t even consider it an option. Raising those children yourself or adoption would become the natural course of things.

Don’t ever drive any old folks to the hospital or old folks home once ObamaCare is in place. You would be an accessory to murder.

Why “before condemning”? It’s not like the malfeasance of the SCOTUS on this subject has not already been condemned multiple times here anyhow.

I was referring to Julian Huxley, not Aldous Huxley ("Brave New World"). Regarding the latter, you might be correct - the book might have been a warning, and not, as you say, a blueprint.
