Well intentioned but misguided and ultimately pointless. This will neither wake up any sheeple or change the mind of a single government official.
I agree. More needs to be done to bring attention to public outrage. Phone calls and emails to Congress isn’t getting it done.

That story was satire. There have been way to many satire articles as of late, problem is they are believable.
I think there are a lot of regular folks who are sick of the people having no way to stop the “business as usual”. People were coming out in droves to the townhall meetings when Obamacare was being considered - until the Tucson shooting gave the Congress-critters an excuse to call off the town meetings. And then there was the million-plus rally in DC on tax day, but those kinds of shows of support were quashed by the IRS harassment of the Tea Party groups. We’ve burned down the phone and fax lines at the Capitol. We’ve done everything we were supposed to do, and what we get in turn is Obama and the whole system pissing in our faces (”making it hurt”), and even worse, dishonoring the families of our heroes killed in the line of duty defending this nation.
The thing I would fear or hate more than anything at this point is “business as usual”. If I had to come in late to work because I absolutely could not get there because there were people blocking the way with American and Gadsden flags in order to disrupt “business as usual”, I would cheer loudly. There’s no way my employer could give me grief because the circumstances were beyond my control, and if I’m going to be stuck in traffic, I would be glad to be surrounded by people DEFYING the normal brain-dead runaround of “business as usual” and instead raising a huge red flag in protest of the total takeover of this country by the foreign enemy combatant occupying our White House and his communist-Islamist allies who put him there and who he has installed at every level of government, controlling every aspect of American life.
And if the resistance could target any one group, the group it should target is the news media. If we’re going to block driveways it should be the driveways of all the media outlets, because none of this crap would be possible if the media wasn’t providing -ahem - mouth service to the foreign enemy combatant who is “radically transforming” this nation from the Constitutional Republic it has always been into a third-world dictatorship.
The media needs to be next. They are the root cause of all this crap, and we need to let them know that we know it. All of us.
1st, I’ve had many misgivings about this plan. Silliness and irritating at best. As you said, it POs people and makes them HATE your cause.
2nd, I’m hearing it’s a bust. Basically no one participating. I don’t know if it’s just plain a bust or they backed out because of the awful rain.
TEN participants?? Talk about the mouse that roared. On the other hand, if TEN guys messed up the traffic, imagine if there WERE three thousand.
I'm sorry but this sounds like something the Occupy folks beleived.
No one is saying not to protest or not to keep getting the message out. I, personally, just don't agree that this is the way. Pissing off "ordinary working" people who are just trying to get their day done just doesn't seem an effective way to persuade them.

We are very good at imagining. Also good at bad mouthing those who decide to actually DO something.
You need to look at the truth of this situation. If it actually was in play, it would just anger people and make them more inclined to DESPISE your cause. Just like OWS.
But this is worse because it really is meant to catch attention by blocking things, and it CAN cause accidents (look at the poorly-written post on an early thread almost cheering how it might cause these which would “help” block it more!). Those THs and body-based protests on the Mall don’t block anything unless there just happen to be too many people. That was not the intention.
IMHO...if they are on the same side, then they will understand and support what the truckers are attempting to do. They might not mind a little inconveniece. GO TRUCKERS!!
