That is how exciting sledding could be. Good sledding places are harder to come by now but back in the day we made some pretty cool slaloms.

I spent a winter in flint michigan back in the 70’s.
The snow became oppressive. I cried almost every day after my husband left for work.
But I was young then, and city snow wasn’t beautiful.
