In Germany, and the rest of Europe I think, the glasses that you are served in restaurants and bars have lines on them stating the amount of liquid in each..................

Yeah, can’t argue this one. If they say it’s a pint, then it had better be a pint, or it’s fraud.

I am somewhat chagrined to admit that I never realized those lines are measurements.
The most useful one—an 8 ounce line—was omitted, though.

It’s becoming common for sports bars in the U.S. to use 14 ounce glasses in order to avoid raising prices on the menu. If they don’t label it as pint on the menu, then that’s ok, but if they do, then it’s fraud. Also, I’m pretty sure a lot of customers are still saying “give me a pint of ...” and are actually receiving 14oz glasses, which is borderline fraud if the waitperson doesn’t educate them.

Seeing that this is a democrat proposal you might want to look deeper...
Like in order to enforce this law every glass of beer will be taxed an addition 20 cents.
Just Saying!

Yeah, cant argue this one. If they say its a pint, then it had better be a pint, or its fraud. Quite honestly, I don't get it. Don't they have laws about fraud? Don't they enforce those laws? My uncle was a deputy director of the ABC in NJ and this was exactly the kind of stuff they went after. Could it be that some politician would like a law on the books with his name on it?
