DOJ sends letter to Universities telling them to ignore SCOTUS ruling on using race in admissions…
The Right Scoop ^ | 10/07/2013 | The Right Scoop

I was listening to Attorney Joe DiGenova this morning on WMAL and he pointed out how the DOJ had recently sent a letter to universities telling them they could ignore the June ruling by the Supreme Court on using race in admissions. The Supreme Court, in a nearly unanimous ruling, said that universities could use race in admissions but not as a dominant factor. But in this letter the DOJ is instructing universities to continue with the same racial preferences that the Supreme Court had just barred them from using:

WSJ – Obama Administration regulators have made a specialty of ignoring Congressional intent, and even black-letter law. Now they’re showing the same disdain for the Supreme Court with advice to universities about interpreting racial preferences in the wake of June’s Fisher v. University of Texas ruling.

In a September 27 letter to university presidents, civil rights officials from the Departments of Justice and Education wrote that the Court’s decision in Fisher means that universities can continue with their same racial-preference policies. According to the Administration’s version of events, the ruling was merely a tweak on 2003′s Grutter v. Bollinger decision that racial preferences could be used to achieve “diversity” on campus.

… That must be news to the Supreme Court, which in an 8-1 opinion by Justice Anthony Kennedy rebuked Texas precisely because it had failed to heed Grutter. That decision said schools could use race in admissions but not as a dominant factor.

This item would be blamed on low-level rogue employees. There is too much separation to implicate Holder or 0bama, IMHO.

But what is so amazing is that we have a House and Senate that seem to be indifferent to that fact.

It is time to remove the vermin infesting the executive branch. They have no shame, just like a dog. Sorry, dogs, but most dogs do have more character than this bunch.

You must obey the “settled law of the land”, if King Obama says so (Obamacare),

But if King Obama doesn’t like the settled law of the land, then just ignore it, because he says so!

There is no rule of law anymore, at the federal level.

I don’t remember the context though it could have been about the legality of a national bank that he opposed

Maybe this was what you were thinking of?

Obama’s Administration is easily the creepiest in the history of the United States.

IS THIS REALLY where Obama wants to go with this?

Sure. A real civil uprising will allow him to play the "law-and-order" card that Abraham Lincoln threw five days after Fort Sumter fell ..... and to the same ends and effects.

Use the U.S. military to war down the People and make the Government, and especially the New Party, the sovereign of the United States. Game, set, match.

That is closer than I was with the national bank:

Worcester v. Georgia, 31 U.S. (6 Pet.) 515 (1832), was a case in which the United States Supreme Court vacated the conviction of Samuel Worcester and held that the Georgia criminal statute that prohibited non-Native Americans from being present on Native American lands without a license from the state was unconstitutional.

The opinion is most famous for its dicta, which lay out the relationship between tribes and the state and federal governments, building the foundations of the doctrine of tribal sovereignty in the United States.

When the AG, on orders from the CIC, refuses to enforce the law, is there anything that can be done short of a revolution?

I believe in diversity but not reverse discrimination, which is what we have. Removing the political power of white gentile Americans has become the target of this administration and their limousine liberal supporters.

If you think not, you need to think again. How much representation do you have as a still majority demographic in this government or the media?

The other day I said to my wife “I wouldn’t put it past Obama to start shutting down US and Interstate Highways. I am now convinced it will definitely happen.

US Hwy 65 in Northern Arkansas crosses the Buffalo River. The river itself is a National Park. I’m planning of going there at the end of the month. That is if the bridge is open.

How far does this government have to go before congress starts pointing out the facts.

Congress has been a complete pathetic joke. They had only three real functions. Protect USA economy from predatory commie and 3rd world nations; protect our borders; and protect our Constitutional rights.

They’ve done nothing. Had they done their job the USA economy would have been much stronger.
