They may be young men and women with families to feed.
Can you imagine how kindly our Pouter-In-Chief would react to insubordination!
These rangers may have little choice.

Have YOU ever been under conviction about some thing?
Have you ever been so thoughtful that you determined you'd change your day to day ... or the way you think?
If the rangers are not thoughtful about what they are doing ... they are the enemy.

Perhaps but it’s scary how easily some people will obey orders without question.
Today barricades, tomorrow boxcars?

These rangers may have little choice. Sure they have choices.
- call in sick.
- Simply wander off someplace and take a nap
- quit.
- Volunteer fo unpaid time off to save the government money
Just to list a few. It isn't like they're soldiers in wartime who will be shot for disobeying an order. The sad, but not in the least surprising thing is that they are apparently following orders without question. It makes you wonder just what other orders they'd follow without question.

“These rangers may have little choice.”
Tough situations are called ‘tough’ for a reason. They ought to set an example for those families they are so worried about, an example that looks at the long term rather than the short term. They’re going to have to any way since that is the nature of these situations.

The choice is between security and liberty.
There’s a famous quote in that regard...
