EXCLUSIVE--Palin Rips 'GOP High Roller Machine': 'Their Money Can’t Buy Elections Anymore'

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin blasted the Republican establishment's contempt for and destructive behavior toward the Tea Party during the current budget showdown with the Obama administration.

Palin told Breitbart News that these establishment financiers cannot relate to the average American worker and are throwing a "fit" because Wall Street knows they are in a whole new ballgame where their influence is diminishing.

Palin was responding to an article by David Freilander in Thursday's Daily Beast in which prominent Republican establishment financiers showed disdain for the conservative grassroots while being unable to identify exactly what a "precinct captain" is.

Palin, who started her political career on the local level as an outsider before eventually challenging the GOP establishment in Alaska to become governor, said that the "GOP high roller machine can’t win elections with their cash anymore."

"If they could, all the money they threw at Romney would have paid off," Palin said, referring to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's inability to galvanize the blue-collar conservative base during the 2012 presidential election. "It’s the average American – the grassroots Tea Party patriot with enthusiasm and boots on the ground – who wins elections":

"I’m not suggesting surrender, I’m simply suggesting that something a lot more subtle than a Ted Cruz Ronald Reagan would be necessary to win at the national level. Ted Cruz Ronald Reagan is far too polarizing. He would bring out the opposition in droves. He scares the living crap out of the low information voters, (with the help of the Progressive MSM) and all they’ll be told is that Cruz Reagan will take away their food stamps, their unemployment checks and their Obama phones Carter sweaters."

You’re telling us your thoughts on what we can’t do.

What is your plan?
What have you done to win elections?
We have a pretty good record. What’s yours?

You know, I am sick to death of hearing this kind of quisling crap. By all means, let's ditch a true leader like Ted Cruz and stick with the mild-mannered vanilla types who won't offend anyone---like Mitt Romney. Because he worked out SO WELL, didn't he? Yes...."subtlety" is what's needed when the Constitution is being trashed and the country destroyed. /s

We need a moderate voice who WON'T bring out the opposition, who will send us on to victory, as so many moderates have before. /s

No more support from me for your subtle, non-polarizing types. In times of great evil, great leadership is called for, and if you can't recognize Cruz as juat that, you have a problem.

Those who are attacking Ted Cruz don’t belong in the party, they are playing for the other team.

How can Corporate America bring back jobs?

Government America - backed up by Lawyer America, EPA America, Tree-Hugger America and Minimum Wage America - won't let them make a profit by hiring in America.

Get rid of insane levels of regulation, high corporate taxation and arbitrary government and watch what happens.

....tea party types can't win at the national level...

It's the Tea Party types that CAN win at the national level!! People in their late 20s through their 40s are FED UP with the way they've been treated by corporate America. Romney being a corporate raider and often sending jobs overseas wasn't what they were looking for. The RINOs keep giving us someone they want.

Cruz, Rand Paul, Marc Rubio (if he can be educated about close the border FIRST) and the group coalescing around them can easily win an election. It's the Deomocrats that lack new talent, with Obama's governing style making it impossible for anyone to emerge on the dem side.

All I’m saying is, China’s getting very strong.

China now exports according to some estimates, the same amount America exports. And growing fast.

And their population is four, or five times America’s.

Folks, the world is changing.

Buy American.

Pluralities win elections. Rove doesn’t know how to mobilize the white vote, which is still enough to win if they can get them to the polls.

Republicans seem obsessed with not offending the “minority vote” , 99.9% of which votes Democrat regardless and turns out with 110% voter turn out in their inner city, voter fraud ridden Republican and Police officer no - go zones .

All at the expense of their voting base.

The current crop of Republican political consultants are poll and focus group driven reactive followers who are responding to the illogical whims and desires of low information voters.

There is not a single leader in that pack of squishes.

Head go along, get along squish Rove destroyed the Bush Presidency by his willful refusal fight back against the propaganda war the Democrats and media were waging against Bush

Strangely enough, the low information voters are craving strong, decisive leadership so they are following the Pied Pipers of the Democrat party down the road to ruin
