Since this is Kathleen Parker of the empty head, I figured I'd better drill down a little. Check out this quote FTA:

Thanks to the monument liberators, Washington officials were forced to rethink their decision and removed the barriers. The American People are now free to roam their public spaces that remember sacrifices beyond most imaginations.

Hey, stupid: The Barrycades are still there. Blart the Mall Cop is still trying to keep people out. There's a section of open ocean in Florida where people are prohibited from taking the King's fish. Parks that aren't even owned by the NPS are being closed.

So, which Dem operative told the gullible Ms. Parker the Monuments are open?

I hope people will remember next election time that it was Obama and the Dems who spitefully and unnecessarily closed the monuments just to cause pain.

What's the matter, Barry?
Don't have the b***s to close "your" biggest Federal property of all?

THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM?

DARE YA!
DOUBLE DOG DARE YA!

Yep. “RENTACADE” But the company had the gall to tell a Freeper that the federal government bought those.

I saw this photo on FR yesterday but was concentrating more on the wire. I just noticed the sign that said Rent-a-cade with Sonco’s name. There was a post here yesterday that said they called Sonco and spoke with the VP or Pres and were told that Sonco did not rent these Barrycades (apparently they had been getting a lot of calls); and, IIRC it was said that the Fed Gov’t had purchased the the Barrycades some time ago). A bit perplexing to me - if the Gov’t owns them, then why are the Rentacade signs on them? Maybe it was part of the purchase “deal” they got - the Barrycades will cost less if you keep the signs on and advertise for us? Just a guess.

I remember when Kathleen Parker was still pretending she was a conservative columnist. She even seemed to have some smarts about her when she wrote. Then Obama got elected and her lips have been firmly planted on his backside ever since.

I recall the column she wrote about his first inauguration. It was like a schoolgirl’s letter to one of the Beatles. I mean that literally with no exaggeration. It was as if she wanted him to touch her hand and she would never wash it again. It was quite sickening. That’s when I knew I would never read anything written by her again. And I haven’t.

Yep, but please look again at the photo. “RENTACADE”. Those are rentals. The Federal government would never buy a product with that kind of advertising on it. The company is not telling the whole truth. It may even be that they were rented for somewhere else and Obama had them put there, but those are rentals. Obama has been working hard to keep WWII Vets out of their own memorial. And he’s using out tax money to do it.

Apparently some were either removed or places do people can still enter:

Obama Administration Reopens Monuments For “First Amendment Activity” In D.C. And Philadelphia

http://www.buzzfeed.com/evanmcsan/obama-administration-reopens-monuments-for-first-amendment-a

The Department of the Interior has made “an accommodation for the Honor Flights and will grant access to the World War II Memorial,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says.

The monuments and memorials in Washington and Philadelphia will once again be open to visitors, provided they’re there for “First Amendment activity,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters Wednesday.

But it seems it’s only open for that purpose — if you just want to look, just because, you are still not allowed...

Anyone wearing a NoBama lapel button should qualify under the “First Amendment Activity” waiver. That might be good news for street vendors.

You don’t get to advertise your company on government property. Stamp your name into the metal or plastic? Sure. But not advertise. Geico would have a big sign on the side of the Grand Canyon advertising 15% off. Tanks would have pictures of Flo hawking insurance. Nope. Those are rentals. Obama has been working hard, HARD, to keep those WWII Vets out of their own memorial. They had to really hustle to get those barricades and put them in place.

I saw the story about opening the Memorial for “First Amendment purposes.” I’m with you, I think it’s a crock of shit, closed to anybody is still closed. Mr. Obastard, Take Down This Wall!

Liz, thanks for posting President Reagan's brilliant D-Day remarks. It moved me to tears. God bless our veterans.

Compare President Reagan's speeches to those of the current White House usurper....juvenile, spiteful, whiney, overtly political, snide and snarky, menacing, vengeful, threatening, pandering, divisive, arrogant, condescending, lying....and America-hating.

I can't even look at his face on TV anymore, let alone listen to one minute of his speechifying.

Now I know how Job felt.

Wonder if they’re open on Saturdays. Let’s find out...

Don't bother.
The company is not a party to this CF. The barricades were purchased by the Obama regime long ago.

About the same time as they were purchasing all the ammo being manufactured.

Not rented or leased.

Sequester? What sequester?
