(The House of Representatives voted twice to restore funding for veterans programs, once Oct. 1 and a second time Oct. 3.)

REALITY isn’t matching the Democrat/MediaMatters Current Truth.
I wonder if the nets will even bother covering this, since it could make Obama look like a loser.

Key departments? There only two or three of those. The rest are like tails on a pig.

Shutting down the DC war memorials didn’t help either. Probably pissed off the vets and families as well.

Hold your horses, the Dems Leaders have cut the house loose to save face for Reid, Obama and Pelosi. They know they have to compromise now as the daily litany of spending bills by agency rain on them every day. Now it’s a question on saving face and perhaps dirtying the GOP a bit more.

That’s the best Advice I’ve heard all day: I know in the US house there are reports that House Democrats are trying to bring up a “discharge” petition to force the US House to take up a so called “clean bill (one that includes funding for ACA)”.
Is there is a similar mechanism in the Senate? If so Ted Cruz, etc.. ought to get their collegues to move a series of bills that would force Harry Reid to bring up funding for NIH, National Park Service, Veterans Affairs, etc..
ANYONE ON HERE KNOW SENATE PROCEEDURE WELL ENOUGH??

The Senate will turn on Reid if the Pubbies continue to hold the line and Obama continues to double down on Alinski.
