Shutting down the DC war memorials didn’t help either. Probably pissed off the vets and families as well.
My husband come from a family of what I call institutional Democrats. They are Democrats because they’ve always been Deomocrats. They also have a long line of men who served in every war since WWII. Believe me, they are not happy about this crap with the Memorials.
