Fifty-seven House Democrats have broken ranks with Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer to vote with Republicans to fund parts of the government like veterans programs, national parks and the National Institutes of Health.
Sixteen of those Democrats voted for all six targeted appropriations bills, introduced at the behest of House Speaker John Boehner, including measures to fund the National Guard and Reserve, NIH, national parks, the District of Columbia and two separate votes for veterans programs. (The House of Representatives voted twice to restore funding for veterans programs, once Oct. 1 and a second time Oct. 3.)

My husband come from a family of what I call institutional Democrats. They are Democrats because they’ve always been Deomocrats. They also have a long line of men who served in every war since WWII. Believe me, they are not happy about this crap with the Memorials.

I saw her one time, face-to-face. I used to work at MSFT where the only bastion of conservatism is in the division where all the lawyers work. This was during the anti-trust lawsuit. There she was strolling with one of the execs in a hallway covered with Bush/Cheney signs. They were everywhere. It was a sight to see. I was shocked at the size of that woman. She couldn’t have been 5 feet tall. Scrawny, little witch.

Nancy: “Harry. I’ve got ten people up for re-election. Do you have our back?”
Reid: “Of course, I do. You can let every democrat vote with the republicans. No not matter what you pass it won’t get past me.”

That is great. The House Republicans are playing the tune and making the Dems dance to it. They should keep this up until they have extracted a budget from Harry Reid — and then it will be 2014 and time for the next budget and there won’t be any need to raise the debt limit.
