How has the government shutdown affected you?
That's the question posted Thursday at 7:50 p.m. on the White House blog by Nathaniel Lubin, acting director of digital strategy for the Obama administration.
Dont forget that at the top of the blog, a handy little disclaimer notes that due to Congresss failure to pass legislation to fund the government, the information on this web site may not be up to date.
Looks like its perfectly up to date.
Also remember that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., won't bring up any resolutions that would fund government programs such as national parks and veterans' services.
So, while hundreds of thousands of Americans are furloughed for being non-essential, the White House has found asking for their stories to be essential.
My sad Story: “I dulled the blade of my favorite KA-BAR sawing through the wire Barrycades at the WWII Memorial.”
White House or White Crib?
I went to McDonalds and was shorted a McNugget. I considered 911 but discovered I wasn’t that hungry after all
Peace Out
I guess I’d better get ready for the inevitable IRS audit.
I just hack into local webs. If I look up anything on the web google thinks I’m in Atlanta.
I posted as well as Senate, but the Administration as acting petty and childish. Now I am worried about getting audited.
Go for it. It’s longer than a 10-foot pole. ;^)
I didn’t serve in the military to be silenced by their intimiation tactics either. Its pretty clear what the marxists are trying to do but they have underestimated our resolve and courage.
If they audit me they will find they OWE me money. F-em
PING!
need to also post same somewhere conspicuous ... like their tweet site ... so it’ll be OBVIOUS if they’re ignored/deleted
Well I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in the pick-up truck
She got runned over by a damned old train
I can’t collect on her insurance because the NTSB investigators are all laid off
I’m not sad, but I know someone who is rip-roaring mad. He is so mad he told his forces to lock veterans out of veterans’ memorials; he told the park service to close all public parks; he got on TV and showed the world how angry he is, except that the media will NEVER notice the fact.
He is so angry that he’s keeping the money flowing to his buddies in the middle east - the ones who hate us.
So angry he cut his golfing in half.
The outraged comments at the ObamaCare Facebook page is awesome
https://www.facebook.com/Healthcare.gov
"... During the first 24 hours of open enrollment, there was overwhelming interest, as 4.7 million people visited HealthCare.gov. And by Wednesday afternoon, more than 6.1 people had visited the site.
For example, I live near the Ohio and Erie-Canal TowPath bike trail. This morning I cautiously set out to go for a ride, fearing that his assclown circus had shut it down. Well they had covered the entrances with that orange plastic snow fencing used beside roadways however, some intrepid bikers had already been there and cut the fencing to gain access to the path. It was about to start raining so I canceled my ride but that made me feel great to see the spirit of ordinary people manifested in such a simple act of defiance. YEA! Score one for "We the People"!
"STOP THIS COMPETENCE NOW!"
“But earlier this week, Congress failed to pass legislation to fund the government, and now many vital services are shut down.”
Congress did not fail to pass anything. They passed lots of appropriation bills, they were merely DOA when they got to Harry Reid (d).

Here is he comment I posted. Wow, that felt good!!! “This government shutdown has affected me in a big way. I always knew our POTUS was a horrible person, but seeing what he has done to our WWII veterans has shaken me to my core. Knowing the the man who holds the country in his hands is an even nastier person than I thought possible keeps me awake a night. I mean, if he could be this despicable to the Greatest Generation of Americans, then he shows the utter contempt he has for the citizens of this country. It is truly terrifying.”
