Can anyone find pictures of the DC cruiser which was sandwiched in half? Peter Doocy on Fox was reporting from about 30 feet away, and I cannot find it anywhere. Almost as though it has been scrubbed.
In the initial volley of seven shots where she tried to maneuver out of the ambush, the four or more officers were close enough to the vehicle to have seen a baby in the car if they weren’t so intent on murdering the driver.
Yea....I read that later on in one of the accounts. They are blaming her for it even though the LEO driver destroyed his own vehicle.
So according to your logic, she was just driving along, minding here own business, not paying attention to her speed, and they just decided to start shooting her.
You need help.
That was my thought as well. In the pic in Post 51 they have a gun trained on the baby. And the elites claim citizens think it’s the wild west?
Holy carp!
Glad I’m not alone in my assessment. They murdered her and endangered the baby.
“Forgot to add, car bombs weigh a car down significantly.’
Depends on the explosives used.
100 sticks of dynamite in a car and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
Same with a lot of explosives.
Let me guess, your well thought out response will be that’s not enough explosives to cause any real damage.
I would panic too if I saw Plain clothes officers approach me with guns pointed at me. Heck, here in PA I would shoot them.
Let me guess. You are married to LEO.
During my career I have seen cops in full panic mode on a number of occasions. You are right! Even if every irrational action they took was on video tape as much of this one is... they will insist on a narrative that is at best improbable. This was a woman who went into survival mode after she and he baby were fired on after being surrounded by a group of men who surrounded her and were screaming.
It is our police department's policy not to engage in high speed chases in busy streets. This is a frustrating policy, but it has been determined that chasing idiots around town results in more danger to the public than just surveilling them and picking them up after the adrenalin level has dropped for everyone. This woman wasn't getting away... this could have been a nonevent. It was escalated to a worldwide news event by panicking law enforcement personnel.
The video of the most seriously damaged police car shows absolute stupidity in action. There was no reason for him to be doing 70 or 80 mph down a busy city street. It is a miracle that several innocent people were not killed by stray bullets and speeding police cars.
So now be prepared to hear a nonstop parade of apologists say that the brave police had to shoot her because the car might have been filled with explosives. And we will hear that a car in the hands of a madman is more dangerous than a gun. And a list of other excuses will be floated. But the young lady was not a madman; her car wasn't filled with explosives. If a proper incident command structure had been in place and accurate reports from those who came in contact with her had been made there is a good chance that this could have been recognized as what it was... a woman with mental issues freaking out with her baby in the car.
This used to be called COLD BLOODED MURDER.
So now you’ve taken your emotion fueled logic to the point where LEO are supposed to be able to read someone’s mind and know they are just panicked.
You of course are so highly skilled you could do it.
In response to you next ridiculous statement, no I’m not LEO nor am I married to LEO, I just think things through and not let my emotions over run my brain.
Police and the news are saying that she “attempted to ram the barricade” but the video shows nothing more than a gentle bump as she tried to U turn. Her big mistake was to attempt to escape with the police on foot around her car. They will say she tried to run them down, but she was only trying to escape.
Thank you for your perspective and info. A cops job is hard enough without this kind of screw up adding to it.
You’re right. Years ago these officers would have gone through the meat grinder. It won’t happen today.
Try reading post 71.
If you are referring to the second photo, the police cruiser appeared to be trying to “thread the needle” and go between two bollard barricades at high speed and misjudged and struck a bollard.
Because the police have become militarized and shoot first and ask questions later, if at all. I am sure that an internal investigation will clear themselves of all wrongdoing.
All I can say is that I hope you do not carry a gun for protection.
