Sebelius Fails even in Her Own State: Not a single Kansan Signs up for ObamaCare On the First Day
WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, the office of Congressman Tim Huelskamp revealed that according to one of the insurance providers in Kansas, none of the 356,000 uninsured Kansans successfully signed up for insurance on the much-hyped ObamaCare exchanges the first day. Congressman Tim Huelskamp has had his own troubles signing up in the exchanges. The Congressman has been on hold for over 60 hours, and is still waiting to sign up as required under ObamaCare.
Congressman Huelskamp released this statement regarding the findings:
These results are stunning. You would think with three years to prepare, President Obama and Kathleen Sebelius could deliver an operational website at least in the home state of the former Kansas Governor. ObamaCare was and is not ready for prime time. 356,000 uninsured Kansans and not one single report to my office of a Kansan successfully signing up for ObamaCare.
Although Senator Harry Reid and President Obama have attempted to undo the provisions of ObamaCare requiring Senators and Congressman to sign up for ObamaCare, I have been trying to sign up now for 60 hours. Error message after error message, failed security standards, and 60 hours on website hold for just this one Kansan, it is clear that ObamaCare is failing and embarrassingly so for the former Kansas Governor.
This is yet another example of why we need to get rid of ObamaCare. We knew it was unpopular. We knew it was unaffordable. And now we know it is unworkable.

Wikipedia:
Sebelius is the daughter of former Democratic Ohio Governor Gilligan and thus they became the first father/daughter governor pair in the United States after her election.[Following passage of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, she pointed out another father-daughter connection: her father had been in the House of Representatives when Medicare was originally passed in 1965.

ping
Gilligan as governor closed Ohio state parks when he didn’t get his way.
Mark, in my former job I checked this sourpuss in for a flight to DC from Kansas City . The haughty Veitch acted like it was beneath her to actually stand in line with her obviously brow beaten husband . So doesn’t surprise me that she’s having a rough go of it in DC and that Kansas folk are either unable or simply wont comply. I WILL NOT COMPLY either
The citizens of Kansas are probably just like the ones from Arkansas in gaining the good fortune to get rid of of their former Governor. Of course, the downside is that they foisted their former leaders onto the rest of the country.
That’s why I think Obama will give on the one year delay...so he’s gone when the “no takers” hits the fan.
Yeah but those uninsured people are in for a rude surprise when they have to pay an IRS penalty for not signing.
Sibelius is Gilligan’s daughter? That explains it all, including the arrogant refusal to learn from one’s mistakes.
If they elected him/her/it, then they need to shut up. They put it in office. Now suffer what you did.
Since I have not read the 589,000 pages of Obamacare, I got a silly question. If you have insurance, are you still required to do this? Get on line and register or try to register? I am totally in the dark on this mess.
Wouldn’t it be fitting if they can only get a million people to sign up in six months. That’s when it will collapse. 1/300th of a nation is not what we consider to be majority interest.
Not all Kansans want to claim Kathleen Sebelius as a Kansan.
I don’t think they will get even a million “paying” folks.
That’s fine. It will show the world just how popular the program actually is.
