I’d like to know why she was in D.C. I do know that every inch of Capital Hill and surroundings is covered with security of every kind imaginable. Cops would have been remiss had they not fired, maybe even if they had not killed her. Even “questionable” behavior would be treated like an attack.
But the question is, what STARTED the chase? What was the precipitating event? Why isn’t anyone curious in this regard? Are we support to just cheer police assuming the person now dead was automatically guilty of something?
This sure is strange. Was she headed to the WH to meet someone?
I totally disagree. This militarization of the police is a symptom of what has gone wrong in America. If this is the way the capitol city is, gunning down unarmed women, I never will go back. May the God-forsaken place burn to the ground.
Nonsense. There were multiple ways to stop her without increasing her weight by 5 pounds of lead!
The Capitol Police car struck an in-ground barrier that had been launched because of the chase. So, it had nothing to do with any driving deficit on the officer’s part and everything to do with the suspect instigating the chase. The officer, btw, had to be removed with a jaws of life.
Are you familiar with the distance from the White House, where the high speed pursuit began, to the Capitol? If there weren’t a government shutdown, the roads and sidewalks between the two points would have been filled with people. By the time she got to the Capitol under those circumstances, there was plenty of cause for the pursuit.
And me too now. Act like a little school girl, now pout little Rudy. So you didn’t like Bill’s joke, say so and get over it!
Otherwise let the rest of us know what makes you god.
Listen. I’ve never met God . . . but I’d imagine he can tell the difference between a joke and a stupid joke. That being said, I can too, and I’m not God.
