The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.
Please, please arrest WWII vets visiting a open air memorial. It will make Barry Hussein look like a fool.
They won’t stop them...
The Truckers Ride for the Constitution movement has a new ally in their protest against what organizers say is corruption in government and a trashing of the Constitution. The group is teaming up with Overpasses for Obamas Impeachment to line the routes into Washington with flags during the Oct. 11-13 event.
Both Houses of Congress are tentatively scheduled to be in session Oct. 11.

If there's one group that's united, it's veterans who are gun owners - 99.9% of vets. We have just begun to Fight!
To all:
Welcome to “Operation RED BEACH”, and you know who the “RED” is.
Spread the word!
the White House was closed to visitors by choice and emails from government staffers revealed that they were directed to ensure that mandatory budget cuts are keenly felt by average Americans.

“If military veterans banded together for a march on the WWII memorial like the 1932 Bonus March, what would Obama do?”
Remember all the major war memorials are “open air”. To include The Wall. Vietnam era vets are not so old and crippled as the WWII Vets.
They should all be visited by the appropriate vets, or their descendents who are also vets.
Looks like the Veterans memorial event is now the rallying point for Conservatives.....
Facebook attempting to take down truckers rallying their people for demonstration to washington...they DO NOT want any demonstrations with the Government shut down....who are they going to call to secure washington?
Things could get pretty fisty in these next few weeks.....
The Park Police SWAT team will show up with some armored vehicles to quell these unruly Vets and their riot. /s
There are veteran's cemetaries all over the county. Find the one closest to you, and go pay your respects.
I wonder if those are closed too. Make sure it's a federal one. Many states have them too, but they are run by the states.
There is a federal one in or near Dallas. I have comrades/friends buried there. I think there is at least one more in Texas. But there are also state Veteran's Cemeteries too. One adjacent to Ft. Hood. I knew a couple who are in there too.
Rep. Steve Stockman:
“You can visit the unstaffed WWIIMemorial at 3:00 a.m. on Christmas morning. WhiteHouse issued a special order to barricade it to vets”.

She's a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and daughter of a World War II vet, and she represents what is rapidly becoming a “red” (i.e., conservative) state as her traditional constituents, rural pro-law-enforcement Southern “yellow dog” Democrats, have been turning into conservative Republicans.
Let's remember that the biggest successes of the NRA came because they have historically worked hard to get Democrats to vote for gun rights. That often means the margin of victory.

LOL!
This is actually good news -- really good news.
Here's why.
Making Democrats who know what way the wind is blowing vote right on individual issues is the way to win this fight by splitting them off, one by one, from President Obama and Sen. Reid.
McCaskill is not stupid. I don't agree with her very often, but it can't be denied that she is an effective politician who has managed to stay in office despite being in an increasingly conservative state by taking advantage of conservative errors (i.e., Akin’s idiotic rape comment) and by doing things like this to please her constituents even when they torque off the national Democratic leadership.
Getting McCaskill to vote against President Obama on things like veterans affairs and opening military memorials doesn't mean McCaskill is right on a lot of other things, but it does mean she may become one of the small number of Democrats who have to “vote right” on some issues to get parts of the government running and essentially de-fund Obamacare by re-funding everything else that really is important.
McCaskill knows that. She's not stupid. And she went to the World War II memorial anyway.
Coming from a Democrat like McCaskill who is a supporter of Obamacare, that is a key indicator that conservatives have a shot at victory.
Perspective:
Obama sent 7 security guards to WWII Memorial this AM to keep out our vets.... that is 2 more than were present in Benghazi.
Moreso we need all Republicans on the same page...that is where the battle is....until this happens the Democrats will always stand with Obama on the major issues.
We don’t have time to dilly dally with the Democrats....except to keep the pressure on ....And she will not fold against Obama on the main issues...never!
How much did those signs cost and how long have they been printed?
WWII VETS STORM DC MEMORIAL
that is 2 more than were present in Benghazi.
Despite Gov’t Shutdown, Army Awards $2,163 Contract for ‘Massage Chair’.....The chair was ordered for Fort Belvoir in Virginia, ....’the site of many of President Obama’s local golf outings.”
The classification is “Furniture,” so it is not clear if the chair is intended as a rehabilitation tool, or just a relaxation aid.
