The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.

Not from today. These were from the Tea Parties in DC and Glen Beck’s rally during the 20101-2011 period.
Hopefully, we can do it again. With bigger numbers.

Have we noticed yet? Obama turns anything related to traditional America into a personal battle, which not only highlights his hatred for core American values but more frightening speaks to a highly developed anti-social personality. The first thing he did after sequestration was shut the WH down to the public, so that it was just his house. Now he is using the WWII memorial as another confrontational move. This guy is dangerous as hell and we better wake up.

My Dad, rest his soul, was a WWII vet of both theatres. He would go in a heartbeart and see this as a last campaign. God bless these vets they may be the first onslaught and I hope it gets tons of coverage. They answered the call once before and swore to defend our nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. I hope they flood Washington with all their offspring as backup. God Bless America!

My dad has a picture of Grandpa and his XO in the Ardennes, standing in waist deep snow.
In the picture, both of them are grinning like a couple of fools. I never asked what about.

National WWII Memorial
The National World War II Memorial was
funded almost entirely by private contributions, as specified in Public Law 103-32. The campaign received more than $197 million in cash and pledges. Support came from hundreds of thousands of individual Americans, hundreds of corporations and foundations, veterans groups, dozens of civic, fraternal and professional organizations, states and one territory, and students in 1,200 schools across the country.
Donated and pledged funds were used to cover the total project costs of approximately $182 million. These costs include site selection and design, construction and sculpture,
a National Park Service maintenance fee required by the Commemorative Works Act, groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies, fund raising, and the 11-year administrative costs of the project from its inception in 1993 through completion in 2004.

Rep. Louie Gohmert on Fox News just now saying he is heading this minute to the WWII Memorial to help lead a Congressional "inspection" of the memorial aided by WWII experts: Honor Flight vets from Kansas.

Have they also barricaded off the MLK memorial? Why would anybody want to visit that? Did somebody stop funding the EBT cards?

According to the name of the .jpg of the pic, it’s a Tea Party. Not sure why it’s here.

This could be great photo ops right now.
The House needs to go pass the bill on the national parks, the VA, and other smaller appropriation bills right now, put the pressure on the Dems.

But they made sure to put their little sign up! Guess this means we can’t look at any of the equestrian statues around either!
Seriously, I have not found the WWI yet. So sad.
