Called Poe’s office in Houston tonight. He is doing behind the scene work on amnesty and today the Houston mayor took the podium with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to “honor their efforts”. Didn’t even reach Poe’s mailbox but did reach one for a couple of clerks who said I should leave my name, address and phone number and they would call me within 72 hours to assist with any needs I might have from the Washington staff. But not to expect any action to come out of Washington for several weeks.
