>> Americans will pay an average premium of $328 monthly for a mid-tier health insurance plan

Not to say they won’t be more.

My premium right now is 280 dollars a month and that’s a very good plan that includes dental, rx and an hsa.

It’s going to cost you 328, but don’t worry... the gubbermint will tax you 300 more, then give you a 100 subsidy.

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!

Sign up for health-sharing ministries - it counts as insurance, but cheaper than Obamacare plans.

That was more then I was paying for my high deductible plan and it does not include a HSA.

Lovely!

That comes out to $3936 per year or roughly 1/10th of your pre-tax paycheck if you have a $40,000/yr job. And that’s not including the co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses.

I suppose if you’re a young person working two 29-hour-per-week part time jobs with no benefits because your employer can’t afford their end of the health care premiums, you’ll be glad you have a 58-hour work week just to keep your necks above water.

Now, I hope you figure out which party brought you this boondoggle and was even willing to risk a government shutdown to insure you got this “benefit”. The media won’t tell you. You’ll need to figure it out for yourselves, that is if you aren’t too tired from flipping burgers for 58 hours.

What pisses me off is that people getting assistance can buy policies at the same premium that others can’t buy at any price. In CA the Poorest can get a Enhanced Silver 94 plan with:
$0 deductible
$3 office visit
$5 specialist
$6 Urgent Care
$25 ER
10% co-insurance for Hospital & Surgery.

Single 30 year old $237/month before $178/mo subsidy.

My $237/ Month gets me Silver 70:
$2,000 deductible
$45 office visit
$65 specialist
$60 Urgent Care
$250 ER
20% co-insurance for Hospital & Surgery.

Why is the base premium the same for both policies when one has clearly better benefits? It would seem that the insurance company is discounting policies for selected individuals which is discriminatory?

No matter how bad it gets, the administration has two talking points ready:

(1)It would have been better if the Republicans hadn’t interfered!

(2)The “way out” is SINGLE PAYER!

So for me, my wife, and two daughters still living at home, I get to come up with $1,312 every month?

That leaves me choosing between paying the mortgage and buying groceries.

No wonder I’m having trouble with insomnia.

I don’t have health insurance, don’t want any health insurance, don’t give a rats a$$ about health insurance and don’t give a shit about other people whining about them having to fork over more for it, they should have either done something more aggressively when they had the chance or just find a way to skip the system.
Let them whine, its not on my dime anymore. Obamacare cannot touch, threaten or even find me to confiscate my belongings.
And I am not alone.

What they don’t say is on mid tier plans your deductible is 2500+ and a lot of things won’t be covered.

Plus the IRS is running it!

Obama and his enablers including politicians are probably expecting to sign up at least 25 to 30 million illegals waiting in the wings to get their free medicare or medicaid. This health bill was not meant for only servicing persons who pay their own way.
