Joe Carr has announced his candidacy for the Senate. He is running to defeat Lamar! Alexander in the Republican primary. Saturday is the 5th of 5 statewide Tea Party rallies. When the rallies were planned we had two candidates. One has dropped out. (Tennessee is a winner take all state, so this is a good thing.)
I plan to play the role of an msm type with my questions.
I am soliciting FReeper input. The questions can be gotcha types or legitimate ones (such as the rape exception that Aiken so badly handled.)
I will post a report.
Let me know if you wish to be added to the beatlamar! ping list.
1. Has he actually read the Declaration of Independence/the Constitution?
2. Has he actually read the Federalist Papers?
3. Does he know how the Federal Reserve works?
4. What does he think of the anchor baby interpretation of 14A?
Thanks. He could answer Yes. I lack enough knowledge to form a specific and cogent simple question. Can you suggest one.
4. What does he think of the anchor baby interpretation of 14A?
Again can you help me on specificity on what the interpretation is? And what exactly is 14A?
When the voters of Tennessee retire Lamar!, I wonder if his retirement home will be in Maryville or Washington. I can just imagine him walking the highways and byways of Blount County in his red flannel shirt.
4. 14A is 14th Amendment, the anti slavery amendment. It is the false interpretation of 14A that gives us anchor baby 'citizenship'.
Here is a question. The “full faith and credit in the acts of other states” makes my driver’s license and marriage license valid in all states and towns in the United States and territories.
Why does it not work that way for a pistol permit?
Red flannel shirt and that stupid tinny piano.
Good question - but, it’s a softball for a conservative in Tenn. I’m looking for more hostile, even trick questions like he will get from the msm.
The Republican politicians completely their red headed step children in the Western part of the state.
Forget my post. Lack of 02 problem this morning.
bump for help since the Mods feel an actual Activism effort unworthy of Breaking News status despite the fact that we have many dead threads in the sidebar.
Activism threads can be in the Chapters/Activism sidebar, which is where it is now.
It’s actually more prominent than being in breaking news, as the Activism sidebar has less entries that will cause a thread to move down the list.
If all threads like this were to be put in breaking news, there would be less room for breaking news.
Thank you for the response. I do not display the Activism sidebar. That’s on me. But, having received very few responses, I wonder how many FReepers do actually display it.
Please add me to your beatlamar!likearentedmule ping list.
Added. Any suggestions on questions for Joe Carr?
Anyone interested in activism should have it displayed.
It’s very easy to set it up.
On my Mod pages it is listed just under Breaking, then Front Page.
I know the default is different.
What is his definition of amnesty when it comes to immigration reform, and are the current 'path to citizenship' proposals being floated a form of amnesty?
If, based on any number of illegal acts conducted by the current administration, the House voted to impeach the President, would he vote to convict?
What is his stand on the Fair Tax?
Does he believe the 17th amendment should be repealed?
Got them
bump
Please add me to the Beat Lamar list.
Done. Thanks
