Guido is only exercising his 'right to choose' - good for him.

Progressive social engineers can all go p*ss up a rope.

Well now they’ve gone and done it. They’ll suffer the same fate as Chik-Fil-A. If they’d just made the effort to be more homo-centric they could’ve been the JC Penney of pasta.

As long as this is free choice, I’m all for it.
The trouble is, the Obamanauts will work to outlaw Barilla at military bases, government cafeterias, etc...

Hope he suffers like Chick-Fil-A suffered (i.e., not at all).

Wow, a business that does not believe it has to fawn over 2-3 % of the market.

Barilla pasta is the absolute best on the market. Their sauces are also exceptional. Forget Ragu.

DeCecco makes the best mass produced pasta by far, but now I will also buy Barilla.

Update from Barilla US Facebook:

“At Barilla, we consider it our mission to treat our consumers and partners as our neighbors – with love and respect – and to deliver the very best products possible. We take this responsibility seriously and consider it a core part of who we are as a family-owned company. While we can’t undo recent remarks, we can apologize. To all of our friends, family, employees, and partners that we have hurt or offended, we are deeply sorry.”

Hey Low, I write about 100 Italian recipes a week, and have never suggested a brand name as a indication of my preference.. That life long prohibition will now be broken..

I have always chosen Barilla pasta as my selection when I buy dry pasta, primarily because it is the best of the brand names, but now I will buy it with added enthusiasm , and promote it at every opportunity including my cookbooks..

Today is turning out to be a great day for this Italian Chef.. :)

Let’s see if the lavender mafia allows freedom of thought. Let’s see if people are allowed to believe what God says, that homosexuality is a sin. Are we no longer allowed to believe what God tells us and say so?

Soooo, it’s Barilla pasta from now on.
