Former Congressman Allen West is leaving his job at Pajamas Media after an altercation with a female staffer in which he allegedly called her a “Jewish American princess,” BuzzFeed learned on Thursday.
“In order to focus on political interests, Allen West will transition from his full-time role as director of programming for Next Generation.TV to a twice-a-month contributor of written commentary on PJMedia.com, effective October 1, 2013,” PJ Media financier Aubrey Chernick wrote to staff in an email from September 16. “I wanted our staff and consultants to have this information first. However, PJ Media is not announcing this publicly for several weeks, so please do not share this news with anyone outside of the company until you see our public announcement.”
In a message to staff, West wrote: “Shortly, I will be giving up my position as director of programming at Next Generation.TV to get back on the front lines to expand the message of constitutional conservatism across our country.”
Two sources familiar with what happened told BuzzFeed that West had gotten into an argument with a female employee and called her a “Jewish American princess” while telling her to “shut up.”
Reached by phone, West told BuzzFeed he was leaving his job voluntarily, though one source familiar with the situation told BuzzFeed he had been fired. He did not deny that an exchange with the employee had occurred, but said it hadn’t led to his leaving the company.
“No I didn’t get fired,” West said. “I’m leaving to pursue political aspirations. That’s it. There’ll be a statement that comes out and it’s effective in October.”
Asked specifically whether he referred to the employee as a “Jewish American princess,” West said simply, “There was an exchange, that’s all.”

I know tons of Jewish American princesses and they’re just like all the gentile American princesses I know...except they’re Jewish.

I think Jewish got thrown in there because the “Princess” infection first became apparent in Upper Middle Class Jewsih Families inthe north east but it is now Endemic everythere in the US and for every racial group.

I was conversing with 2 others in the fashion district of LA 2 weeks back, one of my Jew friends who owns a store and Amazon business who is getting married next month was asked by another of my non-Jew buds “so you’re marrying a Jewish American princess?”
My Jew bud just laughed said “hell yeah. I know it’s her dude. It’s a Persian thing” He was not offended one effing’ bit. Sounds like PJ media is starting to sound like a bunch of libs.

I used to live in NYC...and the nasal whine of a Noo Yawk or Joisy JAP will clean out your sinuses.
The point that many of the commenters are avoiding is his focus on her ethnicity. It is just plain stupid to do that in a workplace. I like and admire Col. West, but if he said what he is reported to have said, then he seriously effed up.

We can’t use “Jap” anymore? I was a child during WWII and I heard “Jap” all the time from my parents and all adults wherever we were. We saw news reels at the local movie theater and that’s the word used in those news reels.
If someone had made a favorable comment about the Japanese, he/she would be tarred and feathered and sent out of town if he/she lived long enough. The Muslim killers are the Japanese of old today.

I worked on a congressional challenger’s campaign just to protect him from these plants who then going running to press about some perceived snub to denigrate the candidate.

He was welcomed and blessed by the rabbi held a town hall in a West Palm Beach synagogue for heavens sake!

LOL, most of the people I know as Jewish American Princesses proudly proclaimed themselves as such. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the term used in a derogatory manner.
He was probably completely correct in his assertion. Most of Obama’s female enablers are of that ilk. Just look at the Marxist distaff side on Hannity’s “fair and balanced” panel discussion the other night.

The sad thing was that most Japanese Immigrants from back then were very hard working and assimilated even better than the chinese immigrants did back then.
