Today, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) explained that Senate Republicans have the votes to prevent Sen. Harry Reid from reinstating funding for Obamacare in the House continuing resolution if they will stay unified. Republicans only need 41 votes to block Reid from using procedural tricks to put Obamacare funding back in the bill.
House Republicans showed tremendous courage and unity in voting to fund government, avoid a shut down, and protect the American people from the harmful effects of Obamacare, said Sen. Lee. Senate Republicans have the ability to show that same courage by staying unified and together opposing cloture on the final bill. We should continue to withhold support for ending debate until Senator Reid either brings up the House bill as is for an up-or-down vote, or allows an open amendment process that permits both Republicans and Democrats to offer amendments to the bill.

The vote on cloture to end debate is expected on Friday, but could be held as early as Thursday evening.

Let us pray.
So what he’s saying is if they stick together they can force and up or down vote on the House bill. That bill would fail...then they’d go to amendments.
So this is about getting the rats on records voting for Obamacare again.
Prayers
Can someone please post a list of the critical senators whom it would be beneficial and worthwhile to call?
That, of course, will take testicular fortitude on the part of the GOP.

why didn’t Ted Cruz or anybody else speaking against the obozocare speak of the 3.5% home sales tax that goes into effect Jan 1, 2014? This tax will utterly kill middle class home sales.
Not very reassuring, when most of them have been neutered.
Stay unified? They haven't been unified to begin with. There are easily a dozen Republicans who will vote to end cloture. Probably more.

They could filibuster cloture to demand a delay amendment and get at least one Dem vote.
Not sure what I think of that, ideally the Dems would not pass the delay amendment... but what if they do?
I’m sorry, but the train has already left.
Burr, McConnell, Cornyn, McLame, Graham, Boozman, Coburn. That alone is enough to get Reid what he wants. Remember these traitors.
RINOs like my TN senators Corker and Alexander wont be voting to defund..
Wait... Lamar! Alexander is up for reelection next year..
oh the po ol boy will be torn about what to do..
hes advertising himself as “conservative” right now
“Im not a Conservative but I play one on TV”
LOL
McConnell, Cornyn, Alexander would be good to call, but don’t expect much. They’ve disconnected their phones.
Call Boozman too to tell him what a quisling he is.
I hope Joe Carr will run some solid ads against this fraud.
They have the numbers to stop cloture but they don’t have the votes. Already Reid has the 6 Repubs needed - Coburn McConnell Cornyn McCain Graham Boozman etc. They are all on record supporting Reid.
Fight these losers at every turn. Cry for their removal everywhere and leave peace for them when they try to campaign or self promote.
Remove their worthless hides by all legal pressure and means available till we get country loving principled conservatives in there to heal this country of all the messes.
It’s about getting the Dems on the record, and for allowing the GOP to offer amendments, such as forcing Congress to be subject to Obamacare.
