MSNBC?! Tom Coburn, who thinks he is a "conservative" in his definition but not in Senator Cruz', goes on MSNBC to whine and make his case?!

FAIL! Big Time! Viva Ted Cruz!

Here's a description of Tom Coburn and his gOLDp senate colleagues from Rush's interview with Senator Cruz yesterday afternoon .....

I will tell you the single biggest surprise in arriving to the Senate is the defeatist attitude here. I mean, we don't even talk about how to win a fight. There's no discussion. We talk about, "Hey, let's get a show vote so we can go tell our constituents we're doing something." But I promise you, Rush, if you had to sit through one Senate lunch, you'd be in therapy for a month ... but they've been here a long time, and they're beaten down, and they don't believe we can win. They don't believe it can happen, and the answer they say on every issue is, "No, we can't do it. We can't do it."

This reminds me of the House of Representatives in the 90's before Newt Gingrich arrived. And he showed them they could to which V.P. Dick Cheney attests ...

When Newt showed up he said, we can become the majority, we can take back the House of Representatives. We hadn't had the House since the 1940s. And initially, none of us believed it. But he was persistent, he was tenacious. He kept it up, kept it up, and kept it up. Finally by '94 he's the newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives with a Republican majority.

“I’m finishing up nine years in the Senate,”

Stop right there. Do you think this is a lifetime appointment? You work for your constituents. Are you uncomfortable that they are calling you out for not doing your job? What good is your so called “conservative record” if you don’t stand up when it matters most? Senator Cruz is making almost all of you look like DC insider politicians who are more concerned with maintaining their political power than doing their damn job for the people. ..because that’s what you are! Start representing the will of the people, or get the hell out!

Coburn, if you’re going to help Harry Reid fund 0bamaCare by voting for Cloture, you’re right.

You are not a conservative.

You are a Kapo for the Regime, loading Americans onto the 0bamaCare Cattle Car.

You friggin’ totalitarian statist.

mosesdapoet to LD Jackson; All
LDJ The caption on your opus whould read:
Socialist Media Driving GOPES (gop elite snobs) Garbage Truck
Because that’s who Cruz critics are responding to. For as smart as some of these people are, with the exception of “Andy Dean” who’s as dumb as a box of rocks. All of them are responding to assertions being made by the socialist agenda driven visual media. As they mete out their visual junk laced with socialist/commie dope to the LIV.

If your a “Republican” and criticize “conservatives” or the “tea party” and I put those in quotes and go to these sources to spout off you get promoted to a GOP leadership role. But who are those sources and how many people watch them and what is their impact ?

Don’t over react, or go to those links when their comments are posted here in FR. Be dissmissive of their remarks and the sources the’re using. Take a guy like Peter King. During elections “can this guy carry his home precinct” ? The media he’s using to carry his mess if it’s print it’s “fishwrap” smelling up the news stand”. If it’s cable “ who watches this loser on a loser network” ?

By responding that way you have more impact and are closer to the truth than an explitive disgused in alphabet soup.

Also if you post an article and it’s about some politician from a state. Go to that state board and pick out a few of the posters in that state board and ping them in your comments so you get some comments from that state concerned.

Sen. Cruz said they discuss symbolic votes (designed, of course, to keep the unwashed from an uprising). We suspected as much, but now it’s out there because Sen. Cruz decided to Go Rogue and went off script.

The blatant honesty of the Palins and Cruzes is why the establishment will go out of it’s way to destroy them...and anyone or any group that supports them.

Speaking of the Tea Party, where are we in the investigation of the IRS abuses?

Tom Coburn to MSNBC: ‘I’m No Longer a Conservative’ According to Ted Cruz

If you go on MSNBC to whine, then you outed yourself, Tom.

(I don't watch MSNBC but I'm curious to know how many RINO-e's went on to complain. Anyone know?)

I called his local Tulsa office and believe me Freepers I gave them an earful. I told him not to ever again go on MSNBC and trash a fellow Republican. I can’t go into all details...but I took no B.S, and he could not name one time where Democrats go on TV and trash fellow Democrats, especially on Fox. I was on fire and they knew it, tried to tell me he voted for cloture after wasting time on a so-called filibuster, I didn’t buy it and got him to admit it was the vote to proceed to debate. Okay...I guess I did go into details...I was hopping mad, gotta run now.

I know Coburn isn’t politically popular with conservatives right now, but he actually does have a very good voting record. He’s also been a very staunch opponent of excessive government spending. It seems his biggest flaw is he’s a nice guy who naively believes the Democrats can be convinced to do the right thing. That’s delusional, because Democrats (and many Republicans) spent decades building the beast in D.C. They are simply not going to help Coburn dismantle any of it. Compromise has only gotten us more government.

The standards for the Conservative label have had to be lowered and dumbed down, you can NOW get a decent rating by just doing nothing and do no harm.

For him to use msnbc as a forum for whining, says all you need to know about him.

He ranks right up there with posters on FR who thinks they are being righteous and important when they post...’I am leaving Free Republic because...’ and deserve the same treatment they recieve.

I’m so sick of these hacks. If they stopped sitting around saying “we can’t win” and actually tried to win, maybe they would at least some of the time. Even that team that plays the Harlem Globetrotters won a game once.

Proven Federal Fact: The only way to balance the US Federal Spending and Income within the next two years is to execute this two step process:

1.) DEFUND Obamacare in 2013; and

2.) ABOLISH Obamacare, Democratcare, and Republicancare in the first month of 2014.

BTW US Congress men and women, failure to do BOTH of these timely steps will insure that your replacements will gladly do it for you.
