As Ted Cruz continued to hold the Senate floor, his senior GOP colleague from Texas was calling in to local radio stations expressing general support for the effort while noting a significant tactical disagreement.
“Ted’s been a great addition to the United States Senate,” Sen. John Cornyn said on KTSA. “He and I were dove hunting in Hondo this weekend together and we both agree that we need to defund and delay and defeat Obamacare to protect the American people.”
But Cornyn, the Republican whip, is in the camp along with Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., that plans to support limiting debate on the underlying House-passed continuing resolution, since that measure itself would block funding for the 2010 health care law that Cruz and other senators have spent all night speaking against on the Senate floor.
“I can’t see voting against that bill, which is what we’ve been asking for — for the last six months,” Cornyn said.

They hunt together? Maybe Cheney can join them sometime.
I should hope that when Cornyn and the others run for re-election, their opponents will remind the voters early and often that Cornyn and the others sold then and their freedom down the river.

I did the same...evidently his phones are lighting up. I called and email Louie Gomert to encourage him to run for Cornyns seat every one should do it. The zip for his district is 75701 you have to have it to email him.

Moran's phones rang and rang but finally took my call in which identified myself before politely requesting Sen. Moran vote against cloture. The young man listened and thanked me for calling but asked nothing else, like my zip code or other. I prompted him and gave him all my information any way.
Refreshing difference at Sen. Pat Robert's' office, when answering my call on first rang, listened to my request, asked for my information, if I cared to share it, and told me I'd be happy to know that he would vote "No" on cloture.
I thanked him and said that I had seen Senator Roberts appearing on the Senate floor early this morning and to give my best to the senator.
I’d vote for Gohmert in a heartbeat. I’d go to South Carolina to vote for Trey Gowdy as well.

I sent some faxes and calls to Cornyn’s offices in DC and Texas. One rep told me he is against ObamaCare but doesn”t support Cruz tactics. I said Cornyn lacks the testosterone that Cruz has and to let him know.
