It is time to clean house and it is time to get rid of the 17th Ammendment.

Letting politicians appoint Senators would make the Senate a LOT worse. To think otherwise is fantasy.

The founders got it right, and their liberty saving structure was proven by our pre-17th history. Divide power between the states and feds. It is you who lives in a fantasy.

You need to study your history! The Senate is supposed to represent the state. Therefore, the state legislatures selected the Senators.

As part of bringing the country into socialism, that bastard Wilson pushed through the 17th Ammendment that made the Senate elected by the individual sheeple, rather than state legislatures. That cut even more power away from the states, furthering Lincoln's agenda.

Right now, states have seriously lost their influence in DC.
