God Bless you good, Mac. Good night and rest well.
Thanks for helping honor our troops, past and present.
Thank you for your service to our country.
She’s not too tired anymore; and glad to be back. Have you thought about Advil.
Good evening, Luv....lauren is fighting the ugly cold/cough that is going around.
Good evening, Connie, and thank you for the tributes to our troops.
Did you have a good weekend? Power shopping time?
Spitting snow on the way to work this morning....but it didn’t stick.
Looking at the mountains on my home has snow on the back mountains, but on the front ones too. It’s close!
Just starting to think tonight. Advil might be a good place to start.
Thanks for the idea.
Glad Nana is doing well.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a cupcake?
Cookies?
Pancakes?
Treats?
Good night.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Lauren. How's it going?
BTTT
It was a SAC base when I was in also. In the museum photo you can see the wing of a SAC B-52 in the background and next to that to the left of the B-52 and not visible in the photo is an EC-135 also SAC vintage and the aircraft I flew many times while on active duty at Ellsworth. Some legacy, yes folks the aircraft I flew last in the USAF now resides in a museum as well as the cold war missions we flew. I believe that was the last war we clearly won without firing a shot.
There is another photo up thread of the B-1 being towed on a road that I believe is the aircraft being taken to the Ellsworth museum.
Road Trip Time!
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
military, our allies, and their families.
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
S.D? Brrr...I'm cold enough.
Guess I'd better dig out a coat for this trip.

Starting in October, I will be opening the doors to
FReeper Canteen "Just Hangin' Cafe".
As the name suggests it'll be a place to
grab a cup of coffee, tea, conversation, and hangout.
Share stories, share recipes, talk sports,
kids/grandkids, work/hobbies...
you get the idea.
Hope to see you there.
Second verse, same as the first.
Posting and running.
Grab a cup of joe or tasty tea.
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
O P E N
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes,
conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS

Heck Yeah!
You fit the perfect description of the majority of our congregation. Same age, shape, facial hair, Veteran, Believer, Tough-looking Exterior with Incredibly Tender Heart, Patriotic American and Conservative.
AND you can SING!
(What’r Ye Doin’ Sunday? LOL!)
I can take care of the musical issues, but the “Spiritual” ones, I shall defer to the Pastor.
And I think this was a deeper matter than just stage-fright or the lack of sheet music.
We all have a job in the Body of Christ, and one must be careful not to step on toes!

Sounds like a lot of fun, I appreciate all you and the other Canteen folks do!
It's wet, wet, wet out here...
Have a sunnydocious day!
Well, folks. You're not going to believe this but we once again had another power outage Friday night here in Comanche, OK.
It turned out a faulty breaker at the substation Northwest of town was the cause of the outage.
I'll be so glad when we get the new substation online. Hopefully next month.
We have been enjoying some nice weather Bo and I have been going out to the lake as of late.
I did do some grass cutting work over the weekend with the lawn mower and the weed-eater. I had to have Cousin Dick show me how to take the top off the weed-eater to put a new line in.
Our Comanche Indians are now 1-2 on the season. They beat Walters 39-32 last Friday. Their scheduled opponent, Riverside cancelled their whole season due to not enough players so this week is an unscheduled bye week for us. Our next opponent is Mangum on October 5th.
