If obamacare is not good enough for the president’s family, it is not good enough for mine.

Those senators like Lamar Alexander, Mitch McConnell, Saxby Chambliss, Johnny Isakson, Lindsey Graham, et al can either listen and heed and toe the new line or they can go to political obliteration - removal from office via Republican Primary. Saxby Chambliss was the first...while not removed per se, he finally realize he would not survive another reelection campaign; neither will Johnny Isakson.

To tell the truth I am strongly against Ted Cruz’s own position on this, but I STRONGLY support him simply because he’s the only Republican standing up to Obama.
Way to go Ted.
Now where in the world, are all the rest of Republicans, and where in the world have all the rest of Republicans been for the last five years?

Some Republicans privately fume that Cruz and Lee, stars of "Defund Obamacare" ads from the Senate Conservatives Fund, come off as the only two Republicans opposed to the health care law when in fact Republicans were united for months against Obama and the Democrats in trying to head off the law in 2009 and still vehemently oppose it. But yet they don't have the same courage as Cruz and Lee to come out into the open and fight head on?
Gutless cowards just need to shut up.

This appears to me to be more of a turf battle among the republicans than an ideological disagreement.
The GOPe have the seniority and feel that they have Obama on the ropes for 2014. They feel that the young turks are too impatient and may give democrats an opening to blame the chaos on the republicans.
Rather than attacking each other, they should make this into a plan A and plan B scenario.
Support the young turks, that's what the people want. If it fails at least they were united in trying to stop Obamacare and the voters will be pleased with the effort.
Then we go into plan B, the 2014 elections with a united party and try to take control of the senate.

I'd suggest this instead of fuming from their "shelter in place" that they get out there and loudly and publicly support Cruz and Lee.

The propaganda denigrating and ridiculing the Congress is in full force. But it still remains true that Congress can fund or not fund any program it wishes.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Congress writes laws and spends money.
The Senate can agree to fund everything but 0bamacare.
If the Senate does not agree, the Senate can shut down Government.
What difference does it make at this point, anyways. 0bama refuses to implement the law as wriiten

“infuriating many congressional Republicans with a tactic they consider futile, self-serving and detrimental to the party’s political hopes in 2014.”
This is what Rino’s say about those in congress who work to implement the will of “We The People”, that’s what they all should be doing, but they are only concerned about themselves...Cowards who are content to be bullied by liberals, because they think it will profit there prestige and power. How stupid is that!

Obamacare, the clowns at ABC refuse to report, is the most unpopular domestic legislation to be enacted in the last 50 years....it was 100% partisan (unlike nearly every other piece of domestic legislation) on the Democrat side, and is an unconstitutional piece of dung.
But ABC won’t report those facts.

The party of wusses and "we can't win this battle" brigade. Tell me again why we send these people to the District of Corruption? Is is to lie down and make nice with the commies transforming America? Didn't think so. I removed the "R" from my registration in 2006.
