FULL TITLE - "DC Capitol SWAT Team That Was Ordered NOT To Neutralize Navy Yard Shooter STILL Not Debriefed, And PD Removes Leader Without Explanation"
On Wednesday, BBC News reported the indefensible discovery that the D.C. Capitol Police’s SWAT team was ready to neutralize the Navy Yard mass shooting. But, the highly trained and heavily armed, elite tactical group was, instead, ordered to stand down and leave the scene. The Capitol Police promised a full investigation. Today, BBC News reported more disturbing information. No one has talked to the SWAT team members. Not even for the protocol debriefing. But, not only have members of the SWAT team not been contacted, the department “has installed a new leader”. Without explanation.
BBC News reports,
Members of a Washington DC Swat team who the BBC has learned were ordered not to respond to Monday’s Navy Yard shootings have yet to be contacted by the authorities.
The Capitol Police tactical response team was told by a supervisor to leave the scene instead of aiding municipal officers, sources told the BBC.
Meanwhile, the department has installed a new leader of the elite unit. No reason has been given for the decision.
Gunman Aaron Alexis killed 12 people.
The BBC has also learned that four members of the highly trained team have applied for temporary leave, as they “grapple” with the aftermath of the incident.
The Capitol Police department has not yet granted the request, nor given approval for them to use their own paid time off.
Command shake-up Days after the shooting, none of the officers has been questioned by officials or investigators from a special panel that was convened on Wednesday.
Members of the Containment and Emergency Response Team (Cert) are typically debriefed “right away, at the very least the following day” after an incident, a Capitol Police source said.
“[They] haven’t even been given the courtesy of a debrief… They have not even been given an answer as to why the decision was made that they should not respond,” the source added.
Another Capitol Police source close to the incident told the BBC: “No-one’s talked to these officers since this happened.”
This is unreal! Did these bureaucrats take the playbook from Benghazi?

The “Leader” is being briefed on what to say so that the law suit amount will only be in the tens of millions per victim. This is a typical government employee cover-up procedure these days. It will take a subpoena and a closed door hearing to get him to squeal.

This is standard operating procedure for law enforcement.
The family in Connecticut, who were tortured and burned alive screamed for help while the police sat outside and waited until it was over.
Law enforcement today is there to mop up the scene afterwards, take pictures and get an accurate body count.
They no longer stop active criminals.
Or Seal Team 6. Hope they all don’t have to respond to a call and take a helicopter ride.

There can be some huge jurisdictional tiffs which are more important to the bureaucrat involved than people’s lives. Each service that shows is loaded with testosterone and starts ordering the others around. There may be little or no cooperation.
I’d say whoever is on the scene first should be the incident commander and all others would automatically subordinate, but I don’t think it happens that way because of the way they’re trained to work. Nobody is going to say their penis is smaller by taking orders.

I could not make out if the new leader was 1st in command on the ground, the watch commander or the head if the entire unit.
If it was first in command on the ground (probably not correct term), I would say someone was being punished for trying to help.
Otherwise, someone has already been designated the guilty party.
Of course the possibity exists this person raised holy hell because the unit was told to stand down. Dissenters are not tolerated.

which shows that, of the 12 mass shooting incidents involving 12 or more deaths that occurred since 1949, 5 (nearly 42%) occurred under the Mahdi, starting in 2009 and going through 2013. Combine that with the hundreds of people killed with “Fast and Furious” weapons walked across the border and deliberately supplied to the Mexican drug cartels to kill people and create mayhem to promote destruction of the Second Amendment, and it’s clear we have a criminal, homicidal regime that’s out to promote and facilitate these atrocities so it can destroy the Constitution.
Indeed, IMHO, the NSA data gathering comes into this because it enables the regime to scan social media and chat rooms to find unstable individuals who might be inclined to perpetrate these horrors and develop them into genuine, effective mass murderers.
There's probably more professional media concentrated in DC than anywhere else on earth....but we're getting most of our inside, investigative news and revelations now from foreign (mostly UK) sources plus some very adept bloggers.

No they have to get their stories straight so it doesnt leak out that Alexis was an Obama administration plant to get all the liberals and mush headed folks up in arms about disarmament because the other shootings just hadn’t been effective enough to get the job done. I’d like to be a fly on the wall in his Communist strategiy planning session. I imagine I’d hear something like “those $&#% Tea Partiy groups and the NRA keep alerting the people about what we’re really trying to get done here. If we can just redefine what an assault weapon is, keep the media focusing on and calling all weapons “assault weapons” and have enough horriic shootings involving children we can probably get the job done. After that Phase II will be no problem and we can remove firearms in public and finally lastly from the homes. After that we can move on to international biometric ID / Operation Beast Mark that we will tell them is to prevent identity theft and use for voter ID (though that won’t matter it’s just for appearance). After that the bionetric ID will be used to track the citizens movements, communications, and purchases which will tied to their IRS tax which will e setup to deduct taxes automatically everytime they are paid in any form. The reason we have no accountability is we have no media, just propagandists. Why was this report issued by BBC? Where was the mainstream media?
This is why President Obama can lie outrageously (i.e. “raising the debt limit will not increase the nation’s debt) and never worry about being ridiculed.
Could it be that he (the shooter) just hadden’t done enough damage yet?
Could it be that they (the SWAT team) was from the wrong buncha ‘only ones’?
Maybe they had no AR15’s and they HAD to get those on scene?
