The reason we have no accountability is we have no media, just propagandists. Why was this report issued by BBC? Where was the mainstream media?
This is why President Obama can lie outrageously (i.e. “raising the debt limit will not increase the nation’s debt) and never worry about being ridiculed.

Actually raising the debt limit will not increase the nation’s debt. That much is technically true but as I have often said the worst liars are the ones who know how to put a lie across while technically telling the truth. The nation’s debt will be whatever it is with or without the “debt limit”. They find ways to violate the debt limit already without admitting it. Why would people who are not bound in any way by the constitution be bound by a debt limit?
