The crew has been herded to the upper deck and forced to stay there kneeled at gunpoint. Some crewman locked themselves in the radioshack. A search is underway, doors are being beaten out. We still hold the press-room from Spetznaz. We'll keep on writing on what is going on here. We don't know for how long the door will survive.

I wish there were pictures. :(
The armed men, believed to be Russian border guards, boarded the Arctic Sunrise icebreaker in international waters, Greenpeace said in a statement, adding that all 25 crew members had been forced into the mess hall at gunpoint and locked there.
Before Greenpeace reported that the Arctic Sunrise crew had been locked in the mess hall, the people aboard the ship had been posting to its Twitter account. The last message there, a few hours before the Greenpeace statement, claimed that most of the crew was kneeling at gunpoint on the main deck as armed men searched the ship and tried to break down the barricaded door of the press room.

Oh. I hope they don’t...SHOOT THEM.
Good luck with that Hippies, you're gonna need it...!
They should be safe in the radio shack. Nobody goes in there any more.
Ruh, roh for the greenies. Spetznaz are like Navy Seals without social skills.
Never a good idea to poke the (Russian) bear.
Sloppy on the part of the Russians. All cell/radio communication should have been jammed prior to making themselves known.
I think the Russians are trying to make a point to the Greenies, which would not happen if they just disappeared.
Something tells me the Moscow Olympics is going to be very....interesting ;-)
NOt true,
Them Ruskies want folks everywhere to understand that they are not the wussified mess that is the U.S.A. under this Marxist punk.
As I read this I wonder why my heart feels so warm?
Wait. Why does Greenpeace need an icebreaker? I thought all the icecap had melted.
BWAHAHAHA!!!
Thats Putin throwing the axe!
LOL!
Funny comment in an understated way.
Oh well! One less Greenpeace ship. If the Spetznaz crew can’t open the door, they’ll just blast it.
Greenpeace has been known in the past, for their intrusion into ‘national waters’, as opposed to ‘open sea’. So their attempt to make themselves look like the good guys, doesn’t work for me.
This time, they “dallied with the pooch”, by getting noticed by the Russians.
I doubt we will see this ship, again.
