Oh the humanity. Where’s the outrage? Oh. Chitown. Never mind. Just a another typical night. Nothing to see here. Move along. No AR’s involved so it can’t be that serious.
Certainly not the first time for bloodshed in his back yard.
That’s a mass shooting, just like at the Naval facility.
Midnight basketball, no bigee.
Rahm’s fault.
The shootings appeared to have taken place on a basketball court ...
... and I thought that Midnight Basketball, the great social program pumped by both Bush Sr. and Bubba Clinton, was supposed to reduce crime ... and now you tell me that it's just another government boondoggle ... amazing!
Chicago Tribune says 18 shot in last 4 hours.

Slow night...
Things will probably pick up on the weekend.
All I heard about the shooters on the radio is that they are young men with dreadlocks.
"Slow night"
LOL! Good one, and so true.

Lived there know the area of mostly frame cottages and single family homes. Built by a mixture of immmingrants during the great depression. Subsequently re-settled by Latinos in the 70-80s. After the fed screwed up mortgage restrictions blacks moved in and screwed up the neighborhood.
Judging by the actions of some of the black parents at our back to school night, I am increasingly not surprised. Have never seen so many sullen, angry looking faces. It’s always a me-first, push-push, let me get mine type of atmosphere with these people. They take it to the road, also, with aggressive driving.
No wonder their communities are plagued with violence.
Maybe if they stopped with their nasty attitudes, their lives would improve. No amount of money thrown at them changes anything.
There’s big money behind these massive changes where gangs are used to terrorize the targeted area. They begin with graffetti, busting car windows. After the take over rents double up. Some of your black politicians are behind this but rarely if ever are connected to it.
“No amount of money thrown at them changes anything.”
It amplifies the problem; they have even lower expectations of themselves, and the sense of entitlement grows.
I always feel a sense of justice when a neighborhood has been so completely abandoned by taxpayers that basic items are left wanting; the recent layoffs of police in NJ are a prime example. If people can’t pay for police protection, they don’t get it; if they won’t pay for their schools, they’ll have class sizes of 60 children. If enough of their children die in random violence or end up illiterate at 18, maybe they’ll be motivated to get their acts together. The trick is to ensure you’re nowhere near the ones who won’t get their act together (or their offspring sacrificed for their parents’ laziness).
Dear President Assad,
I know you are busy with your civil war and all, but if you could please spare a few troops for a peace-keeping force, the citizens of Chicago would appreciate it. It would enhance your image as a humanitarian.
