I wonder if perhaps he’s a Somali or some other kind of Muslim African. Africans are generally darker than American black people because they usually don’t have any other racial mixture.

Did you ever live around New Orleans? There’s some AA’s there that are whiter than me so maybe the description is needed. Maybe if it was a white guy they’d have to give descriptions of “bright white” or slightly “pinkish white”. Just sayin’. And certainly nothing hateful involved in this incident. “Merely” ethnic intimidation.
