MISSOULA, Mont. A federal judge has ordered a Montana newlywed to be released from jail on her own recognizance while awaiting a murder trial in the death of her husband in Glacier National Park.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah Lynch said Thursday that Jordan Linn Graham, 22, of Kalispell did not pose a flight risk because of her strong community ties and did not appear to be a danger to others.
Graham allegedly pushed Cody Lee Johnson, 25, face-first off a cliff to his death in the national park on July 7 after the two argued. Earlier that day, prosecutors claim Graham told a friend she was having doubts about the couples 8-day-old marriage.
Prosecutors asked the court to reverse Graham's release, saying she poses a safety risk and has repeatedly lied to investigators.

Well, she did keep her vow of 'until death do you part'...
“I bet this chick has crazy eyes.”
I bet she has irresistible bedroom eyes.
My son’s friends were telling him not to do it. At the bachelor party they were all trying to get up the nerve to sit him down and persuade him that he was making a big mistake. The best man said no, it was too late. Their reason wasn’t that she was crazy, though. They just think that his wife is way too materialistic.
"Well, my first marriage kind of went over like a lead balloon, ya know? Do you like rock climbing?"
She just wanted to have a wedding. But then people started laying that whole "husband" and "marriage" trip on her, and it was just too much. The pressure to conform to a hetero-normative social construct, i.e., "traditional marriage" imposed stresses that could only be relieved by pushing the "oppressor" out of the dynamic ... or off a cliff ...
I've probably met worse at bars.
Probably never be taken in. Cop would say “Got yer back, Jack. Bltches be crazy!” [Nod to Sheldon Cooper]
>>Well she said she only wanted a wedding, she did not want a marriage!<<
Ahhh...the “Princess Syndrome” coming home to roost!
She’s a brunette, too. From my experience, it doesn’t get much more mental than them.
What do you call a man out on a date with a brunette?
A hostage.
Released on her own recognizance, no bail required. Must be awesome being a chick. Now all she has to do is pluck a nose hair to make a tear, then tell the court how the guy was scary and mean. That’s why she pushed him over.
“Consider it a divorce.”
And everyone is being insensitive. How must it feel, being a widow so young. Very sad./
A great opportunity for some "lucky" guy to make her single yet again!
My friends, and my future father-in-law, told me not to do it.. he told me she was too much like her mother.. ha!
WELLLLLL.. my honeymoon was the period between, “I DO”, and YOU’D BETTER” However, she did give me the best two years of her life..
We were married 14 years.. :)
Aw, c’mon!
Where’s your compassion for this poor widow?
