MISSOULA, Mont. A federal judge has ordered a Montana newlywed to be released from jail on her own recognizance while awaiting a murder trial in the death of her husband in Glacier National Park.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah Lynch said Thursday that Jordan Linn Graham, 22, of Kalispell did not pose a flight risk because of her strong community ties and did not appear to be a danger to others.
Graham allegedly pushed Cody Lee Johnson, 25, face-first off a cliff to his death in the national park on July 7 after the two argued. Earlier that day, prosecutors claim Graham told a friend she was having doubts about the couples 8-day-old marriage.
Prosecutors asked the court to reverse Graham's release, saying she poses a safety risk and has repeatedly lied to investigators.

Hey. Maybe she'll use her freedom wisely and throw herself off a cliff. That would save the taxpayers of Montana the expense of housing and feeding her murdering @ss for the rest of her life. not /s
Sign #1 that you may have chosen the wrong woman to be your wife.
Actually sign # 1 was others telling him before he said “I do” not to do it.
I bet this chick has crazy eyes.
I’ve got a bad Irish temper but pushing him off a cliff? Thats cold baby.
Well hopefully this will lead to a ban of all cliffs. We need to introduce legislation that will put cliff locks on all cliffs and have a maximum height limit on all cliffs.
Head on a swivel man!
This guy would have been the type who take their woman to the gun store and buy her a pistol and ammo, teach her to shoot at the local gun range, and then face terror for the rest of their days.
WHAT ((((((((((CLIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF))))))))))))))))))

LOL.
Oh, you know it!
If the husband had pushed the wife off the cliff, would he be released on his own recognizance?
Well she said she only wanted a wedding, she did not want a marriage! So, she had the wedding! From now on, as long as you just shack up with her, no problemo! Wonder if she’ll apply for widow’s benefits? /SARCASM
I guess he'd served his purpose.
US Magistrate, eh? I’m presuming this is a Federal case because it occurred in a National Park?
Hell no.
Hey guys! Look who’s single again!
She’ll get 10 years or less and re-marry some idiot right after her prison release.
What if she goes bar hopping? Would you want to be the guy she meets at the pub? By releasing her the judge had put the public in danger.
Compared to divorce, this dude got off light.
While it may not have been for long, he sure had a beautiful view.
The the combination of the two should be enough be enough not to release her on her own recognizance
