Time managing editor Rick Stengel's decision to join the Obama administration is just the latest example of a new trend among mainstream media journalists who are making it official by officially joining the Obama administration. Stengel, who is joining the State Department, is just one of 15 (or 19) who have given up a career in journalism to join Obama's crusade to fundamentally transform America:

Whether the number is 15 or 19, the fact that this many so-called journalists from outlets as influential as CBS, ABC, CNN, Time, the Washington Post, Boston Globe, and the Los Angeles Times want to work at the very same administration they are supposed to hold accountable, is not only troubling, it also explains a lot.
Why would anyone enamored enough with an Obama administration they want to go work for, do anything that might make a potential employer uncomfortable -- you know, like actually report on ObamaCare and the economy honestly, or dig into Benghazi and the IRS?
...to fundamentally transform America

This is part of the reason, besides their own Liberal worldview, as to why they self-censor to aid Obama. He and the DNC are the patrons of these journalists.
The reason they are taking jobs with the Administration is because they see their jobs with the media going away. Time magazine is a good example of a publication on its’ deathbed (like Newsweek).
Obviously, the outlook for their brand of journalism is not up and to the right.
Freedom of the pests
You mean officially?
Gotta find paying jobs. Sure aren’t many out there for journalists.
It’s really closer to 15,000.
It isn’t just the presence, they’re bringing their connections with them. We have a working Ministry of Truth now, and anyone who doesn’t think so may reflect on the difference between the news we get about the United States from domestic media and foreign. The Ruling Class marches on.
I don’t have any problem with journalists openly getting a paycheck from the regime - my gripe is with the vast majority who work for them for free.
Oh brother!...Big SHOCK there!
Great!...They can all go down together!!!
Should be simple. If you leave the media to work for a politician, you shouldn’t be ale to go back to work in the media.
OH Geez, we now have the ministry of Propaganda fully staffed?
When I was young I used to read my dad's time magazine. I remember it having a lot of informational categories. I haven't looked at it for years. But, recently I picked one up at a doctor's office and was honestly surprised to find it was thinner than some of the coupon junk mail I get. (less interesting too)
They have always worked for the Obama regime, their paycheck now just has a different name for the check writer.
