[history]
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Environmental Protection Agency will propose new rules next week banning the construction of new coal power plants in the United States that do not meet expensive new and ridiculous efficiency standards. The new standards will force power plants underground, literally.

Get ready for your electricity costs to skyrocket. People are going to be shocked.
This administration sure knows how to kill an economy.

It’ll be ironic if the EPA and Obummer make the cost of powering EV’s more expensive than powering gas/diesel vehicles.

If I were God of the world, I would force ALL coal fired electric plants in the USA to close immediately. Then I would sit back and watch all these EPA/greenie/environmental assholes complain about the brownouts and rising cost of electricity. I doubt that these idiots could follow the dots & even understand their consequences. My answer is get the war on & drive them in the ocean. Then we will have all of the energy we want.

Well Texas has the only electrical grid independent from the rest of the nation. When we are producing all our power from Fracking produced natural gas we will have a huge competitive advantage vs the other states.

Yep, the EPA at the very least should be stripped of its regulatory powers.
The EPA should be no more..it should be completely dissolved

I normally don't comment after 30 or so posts but....let us repeat
And in 2012 Ohio and Pennsylvania voted for him again...
Hope all them Union Democrat Suckas are happy now.
To: pwatson
ND may go that route. They’ve not been obamatized yet.

If I were God of the world, I would force ALL coal fired electric plants in the USA to close immediately. Then I would sit back and watch all these EPA/greenie/environmental assholes complain about the brownouts and rising cost of electricity. After a couple of months I would force all nuclear plants to shut down and enjoy my popcorn. A couple of months later ditto with the gas powered plants. And when the bitching got real bad I would say, live with your stupid wind turbine farms and solar panels. You got what you wanted. END OF DISCUSSION.What you described here is what is actually happening right now.

I’m sick and tired of these government agencies being allowed to issue new rules as they see fit. How about a constitutional amendment forbidding any government agency from passing and enforcing new rules unless those rules have been voted on and passed by both houses of congress?
To: lowbridge
Agreed, these agencies are being used by politicians to push agendas they can’t get passed through the normal lawmaking process.

All this for a hoax called global warming
government doesn't work and must be abolished except for military and border control.
there is record ice growth in the Arctic during this summer. I think the ice sheet grew by 60% over last year. and for 30 years the government has been funding fake studies to create the global warming hoax. the media has been screeching global warming for 30 years. it's all to destroy capitalism, destroy our freedom and our economy

The states with tons of power plants need to cut the lines leading out of state and keep that energy to themselves.
If the people of California want to live in the dark let them.

I’d say the the dogs in Animal Farm best represent the EPA.
To: Olog-hai
First it was the oil refineries . . .
And since it wasn't my gas or electricity that would necessarily skyrocket.....oh, wait...
