(CNSNews.com) - Americans who live in households whose income is below the federal “poverty” level typically have cell phones (as well as landline phones), computers, televisions, video recorders, air conditioning, refrigerators, gas or electric stoves, and washers and dryers and microwaves, according to a newly released report from the Census Bureau.

The corrupt feds are unconstitutionally putting monetary value on votes, essentially allowing the poor to buy things with their votes via constitutionally indefensible federal welfare programs.

“They have no idea what “poor” really means.”

Nor work, most of them would collapse in a heap if they even had a hint of how I lived growing up, they would rather go to prison than live like that. Hell, I joined the Navy as soon as I possibly could to try to get an easier life...and it definitely was! Boot camp was easier than the farm and after nine weeks of that was over the rest was like a vacation.

yep... I used to tell my kids that every time they didn’t get what they wanted and whined about it.

If you have had more than a spoonfull of rice to eat today, you are the one percent.
If you own a pair of shoes, you are the one percent.
If you have a tap that clean water comes out of, you are the one percent.
If you you are bitching because your cellphone with unlimited date text and talk is not the most current model... the you need to shut the hell up.

Having had the privilege of traveling to some places that were 3rd world and seeing dirt floors and poverty beyond anything ever seen in America, it assaults our intelligence and our paychecks to know people drawing entitlements in the USA are texting, have big screen TVs, the latest shoes, buying cuts of meat I could not in my wildest dreams afford to buy and using it to buy drugs, music and movie theater tickets. A complete overhaul is needed, but neither political party will approach it out of fear of losing voters.

VCRs? The injustice! Something must be done to alleviate their suffering. Blu-ray should be a civil right!

“Boot camp was easier than the farm and after nine weeks of that was over the rest was like a vacation.”

Agreed! Except later, I went back to having a farm of my own. (Dumbass, LOL!)

However, in the Civilian World, I continue to astound and amaze my co-workers. They cannot BELIEVE the amount of work I complete in a day. My organizational skills blow them away, and me being two or more moves ahead on the ‘Chessboard of Life’ at all times simply astounds them! To me, life in the civilian world is a cake walk. And I owe it ALL to the military. (I miss it every day. Can you tell?)

And THEN I go home to my farm and ‘play’ for another 8-10 hour shift. Life Is Good. :)
