God Bless you good, Mac. Good night and rest well.
Thanks for helping honor our troops, past and present.
Thank you for your service to our country.
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hope The Mayor family had a nice weekend.
Didn’t recognize either...the names didn’t help. d:o(
"Charles Guiteau held a very high opinion of himself. He believed the United States owed him a powerful job and that President James Garfield was personally responsible to make that happen. When it didnt, he shot the president."
Hmmmm....
Lincoln.....1865
Garfield.....1881

A young doctor?
Or Supreme Court justice, or priest?
I can’t find it.
Those are good ideas, too.

They were very good!
Nana all ready for the first day back at work?
This 1904 Medal of Honor was given to Sgt. Wallace W. Johnson, Company G,
6th Pennsylvania Reserves for his actions at the Battle of Gettysburg.
In 1904, the Medal of Honor was redesigned, and those who had received the medal previously
were presented with the newer version. Both versions of Johnson's medal are
in the collection at the Gettysburg museum. (THE (HANOVER) EVENING SUN -- MARC CHARISSE)
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a cupcake?
Cookies?
Pancakes?
Treats?
Good night.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Star. How's it going?
BTTT
Robert Todd Lincoln was in the train station when Garfield was shot, was a member of McKinley’s cabinet and of course was by his dad when he died. Dr. Doctor Bliss (yes, his first name was Doctor) “treated” Lincoln and Garfield...and was actually more responsible for Garfield’s death than the shooter (Charles Guiteau) as he introduced the infections that killed him months later.
