She won't get much in the divorce. How much reward could she get for killing him?

>> has him feeling “invincible” and “making some reckless decisions,” like speeding and gun shopping.
Speeding and gun shopping is “reckless”?? I went gun shopping today and I speeded to get there and then speeded home afterwards.

I’m sure the strain of the incarceration and the trial, and all of the publicity hounds must have been tremendous. I feel sorry for them, but wish they could work it out.

I take it she’d have been happier if Trayvon had killed George, or if George had been convicted.

My ex-wife doesn’t have a lot of good things to say about me, either. It’s the nature of the beast. Her gripes didn’t get the attention of the international press and Hollywood, though, for obvious reasons. Why is he not in Peru?

I wish she would shut up. She’s just giving ammunition to the hate-whitey crowd.

She's seeking custody of the couple's two dogs. What next? Is she going to do a bikini-clad handstand on a beach and yell, "Look at me!"
I think in most jurisdictions pets are considered chattel, not children.

She's seeking custody of the couple's two dogs. Sounds fair. She gets the two dogs and he gets:
Book royalties
Speaking fees
Lawsuit winnings
Keltec advertising payments

Shellie seems like that juror who voted not guilty but then couldn’t take the social pressure and went on TV to say how she really thought George was guilty but the law made her acquit him. Shellie just doesn’t have the fortitude to stand against the herd.

"I stood by my husband through everything and I kind of feel like he left me with a bunch of broken glass that I'm supposed to now assemble and make a life," she said. "I have been married to a person for about seven years and I don't think I ever really knew him at all." She needs counseling, as does her husband. They have both been through a very trying time with a highly uncertain future. They need help. She is crying for help, not a divorce!

What Shellie considers as “feeling invincible” may be more of Jorge feeling as a target and a “short-timer” when in public.

My take on this from other stuff I read was that they were getting divorced (or moving in that direction) before the unfortunate Travon incident.
Figure there is no money in the marriage. Probably under great strain to get away with all the treats and IMO figures if George sells a book she'll find religion and sue him for more than half his end of the profits to support her two dogs in the future.
In this case for George it is good riddens.
But, considering her husband has his head on the cutting block after this case still, it is a less than classy thing she is doing in trying to cast negative charges on the guy ON NATIONAL FORUMS in public.
IMO she will be best suited in Vegas to work some ranch where she can full fill her true talent as a proper prostitute.

George needs to change his name to Ben Ghazi to avoid media coverage.
Shellie can change her’s to Kardashian to get more.

As they have no kids, there’s no way in hell he has to take out life insurance on himself, for her benefit. She was asking for this in the divorce.
And this isn’t new, the whole divorce thing was looming before this incident. It’s not like it’s been only after or because of the trial. Stress like this helps break up marriages with existing problems, it’s hardly surprising.
It is often surprising, what the women ask for/think they deserve.

Recall that she just recently pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying during a bail hearing following GZ’s arrest. She received one year of probation and 100 hours of community service...and GZ was not in the courtroom with her during the plea deal.
She also revealed that she was not at home the night Saint Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, because they had had a fight, and she had gone to her father's house. She also has stated that they lived in a 20-foot trailer in the woods somewhere, in constant fear of their lives.
Too much stress on a marriage that likely was not stable even at the time of Saint Trayvon’s martyrdom. However, she should have the good sense to keep her head down and not talk to the leftist media that will discard her like a used fruit peel once they are done with her.
