Barack Obama is, without question, the most embarrassing president of my lifetime and that is saying something, since my life so far has encompassed 12 presidencies, some of which have brought a lot of embarrassment to the nation. Even Richard Nixon, with his Watergate scandal, Jimmy Carter, with his malaise, and Bill Clinton, with his lewd behavior in the Oval Office, could not top this president for pure, unadulterated disgrace.
Of course, in Obamas case, it is not a matter of personal scandal like it was for Clinton. By telling the world a year ago that he was drawing a red line in the hot desert sands of Syria that red line being the use of chemical weapons he created the debacle that currently threatens to engulf the Middle East. He blustered at the time that if the regime of Bashar al-Assad crossed that red line, there will be a price to pay. No one yet knows what that price will be, but from the current discussion, it appears that it will involve the destruction of at least three camels, four sheep, a half-dozen goats and an abandoned aspirin factory. That oughta show em!

Obama is a symbol of much of todays generation, which accepts no responsibility for anything. Therefore, when something goes wrong among his cockamamie plans, it must be someone elses fault. Usually, of course, it would be George Bushs fault, but even Obama couldnt bring himself to tell that one again, not in this case. No, this time its the whole worlds fault. And Congress. And America. Its American credibility that will suffer, he told the world, not his. Unbelievable.

Personally, I don't know how anybody could possibly call our fearless leader an embarrassment.
Yep
The most embarassing president of *any* lifetime.
Amazing that this guy goes form noting that the world communithy does not support bombing Syria and then says the world demands that something be done.
Is he crazy or a moron or what?
The questions that need to be asked are these: What is the national security interest of the United States of America in attacking Syria? Will our intervention accomplish anything more than assuaging the ego of an arrogant president who has no knowledge of military matters? Will the consequences for the wider region, and for the interests of the United States, be improved if we attack Syria? And the most frightening question: have we elected a president who so admires Islam and so hates Israel that he would deliberately aid al-Qaeda while provoking a brutal Arab tyrant to attack our tiny but crucial ally?
I fear the answers to these questions are as follows: none; no; no; and, unfortunately, yes.
But on matters such as the IRS scandal and Benghazi, mums the word. He's got nothing. His lips are sealed.
One BIG 'WTF' is in order here!
And several hundred FUBOs.
And Congress wonders why they have the lowest rating since records have been kept. They need to grow a pair and do what's right.
Of any country!
Whatever is the opposite of good for America is the path that 0 follows.
He’s a tedious, I’ll-equipped, half-bright child. He’d be an embarrassment as a community organizer. As president he is simply an obscenity.
Amazing that this guy goes form [sic] noting that the world communithy does not support bombing Syria and then says the world demands that something be done.
And how are the two statements in contradiction? We can do something, and that "something" doesn't have to be blowing up things and persons in a country that hasn't attacked us. They have offended our sensibilities, but not committed an act of war against the United States.
Part of the issue, to me, is knowing who really did the deed. I'm not satisfied with the "evidence" that has been put forward to date that completely rules out either side committing gas attacks. Shoot first, ask questions later, that's a recipe for pissing a lot of other people off. That's one reasons I want to keep the drones and bombers at base, instead of dropping bombs.
Haven't we killed enough civilians over the years? Show me that our military will be fighting to win, against military targets, and I might have a different opinion. Show me that we will finish what we start: start at the beginning, continue to the end, then stop. Not the same bogus rules of engagement that typified the Vietnam "War". (With no disrespect intended for anyone who was there, just disrespect for the dolts who, safe at home, made impossible demands on our troops.) Show me that the rest of the world is behind the actions we take, that even though they aren't fighting themselves they cheer us on.
Show me that this isn't the actions of a few old guys in Washington, acting without the approval of the people in their districts, people who elected them believing that in doing so they were sending thoughtful, competent people to nation's Capitol.
But it’s racist to say anything. We have to be liberal, and give a half Negro president a very wide stance to prove how liberal we are.
Luminaries such as Jimmy Carter have said that opposition to Obama is racist. We can’t quarrel with JIMMY CAN WE?????
“..the most embarrassing president of my lifetime “
I believe history will show he is the most embarrassing president ever.
Well stated.
“Is he crazy or a moron or what?”
President Jackanape is all of the above.
Did anybody catch that self-pity bit when he talked about the leader of some small country who supposedly remarked about how hard Obama's job was compared to his in his piddly little too-unimportant-to-mention by name country?
Now the entire world has seen how badly he is in over his head, and it weakens our international reputation. And we have to survive the next three years as a country with the weakest leader America has ever had. Expect more challenges from Putin, folks. He's seen President Urkel at his most incompetent, and Putin's the schoolyard bully who is about to give him a wedgie.
Pitiful...
