...the statement drew a pointed comparison between what it said was the scientific detail of the report and the far shorter intelligence summaries that the United States, Britain and France have released to justify their assertion that the Syrian government launched chemical weapons against Damascus suburbs on Aug. 21. The longest of those summaries, by the French, ran nine pages. Each relies primarily on circumstantial evidence to make its case, and they disagree with one another on some details, including the number of people who died in the attack.
The Russian statement warned the United States and its allies not to conduct a military strike against Syria until the United Nations had completed a similarly detailed scientific study into the Aug. 21 attack. It charged that what it called the current hysteria about a possible military strike in the West was similar to the false claims and poor intelligence that preceded the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.

If you want to be on this right wing, monarchy, paleolibertarianism and nationalism ping list, but are not, please let me know. If you are on it and want to be off, also let me know.
As is sometimes the case, I have a few articles from lesser known sources; this time, on the topic of the day.
I don’t believe / trust the Russians either. They may have a bit more credibility than Obama but that isn’t saying much. All of these players are just pushing lies to justify their pre-conceived agendas.
I got a video of obama explaining the reasons to get into Syria.
Well, no, but if there is a detailed and technically precise report somewhere at the UN, then perhaps that would give our fearless leader a little bit of a pause before we rush headlong fighting for al Qaeda.
Thank you. Done. One thing we have over them Russians is eloquence.
We need Hans Blitz to investigate the details...sure...that’ll do the job.....
Obama "proud partner" w/ Muslim Brotherhood front ...
I also read the o was trying to show Putin how "dominant" he is. Yeah. Right.
It is a sad day when the Russian Regime is a more credible source than the WH.
Detailed and technically precise report prepared by whom? I don’t trust any of these people. How would one ever know if it is technically precise? Let’s hope the House at least refuses to go along then we’ll see what Obama does.
another possibility is all of this is just theater to distract from ObamaCare, economy and Obama’s other problems
True, but in the case when no American asset was under attack, a retaliation on Syria may be then a war crime.
The UN is a big organization to read the report; this is still better than Kerry citing no report that anyone outside of the Obama cabinet could see.
Yes, the congress should resist this adventure by Obama, and yes it is a distraction he needs to blame his economic failure on.
I don’t trust the UN or the Russians more than Obama. I don’t trust any of these people. UN reports are worthless. One doesnt always have to pick sides. I pick no sides. They all have agendas and are professional liars. Screw all these people. We should stay the heck out of Syria.
True; and the significance of the report is that it helps.
Breaks my heart that I now trust my own country’s administration less than I trust Russia’s.
Yeah, and Putin’s almost cool, but can he sing soul music?
And under the aegis of an international tribunal or world court that may have some weight. But around here, as far as I can see, no one is doing anything to stop him--et al. And he is a walking violation.
The fact that a KGB thug with a botox face can look cool compared to our leader is indeed frightening in itself.
Generally, there should be no such thing as international tribunal among civilized nations that look to national interest and respect that of others, but once we took on the role of international cop, well, then we should also assent to an international court.
