White House understands no-shows for Obama Russia meeting

The White House isn't taking offense at decisions by several leading Russian human rights activists not to show up for a meeting with President Barack Obama in St. Petersburg after the session was repeatedly rescheduled.
"Because of scheduling changes, some of our invited guests couldn't make it, which we of course completely understand," a White House official who asked not to be named said Thursday.

I think this is what happened - civil rights leaders living in Russia had a choice: meet with Obama and incur the wrath of Putin, or stay away and be happy. I'd choose “happy” in this case.

These were the LGBT activists....RADICAL GAYS that Obama was going to meet with and BELIEVE me, it was the White House that told them to stay away now!!!
Obama is in such deep doo-doo that he has cancelled a fundraiser AND this GAY ACTIVISTS meeting!!!
