UN Demands Obama “Nullify” Stand Your Ground Laws
The New American ^ | Sept 4, 2013 | Alex Newman

Wildly overstepping its bounds while revealing a profound ignorance or disdain for America’s constitutional system of government, the United Nations demanded on September 3 that the Obama administration “nullify” Florida’s popular “stand your ground” law. Of course, the president cannot “nullify” anything, let alone state law — and especially not on meaningless orders from the UN.

However, the increasingly out-of-control global bureaucracy claimed in a press release that the U.S. government was “required” to obey its mandates.

The UN says Stand Your Ground laws must go because they discriminate against blacks.

Isnt it interesting that the UN has time for this with all the funny business going on in the middle East.

Seems like the United Nations function is to unite nations against the USA.

1. Stand your ground is not racial
2. It wasn’t the basis for the Zimmerman defense
3. No person should have to turn and run
4. Attackers should be the focus, not those who stand their ground
5. U. N. mouthpieces should just zip it

They have a discriminatory effect on certain races because it is certain races that comit most of the crimes. Telling people not to defend themselves and their loved ones just so too many people of one type or another don't get shot.... that's stupid. Telling someone not to defend themselves is immoral. Why not tell women to stop fighting back, stop reporting rapes because too many men are being disproportionately affected by it? Going against stand your ground is the same thing. When you do that you are siding with the criminal not the innocent.

You want fewer blacks shot by people who claim self defense and or SYG applied? Don't disarm the victims, stop the crime. Maybe if more criminals got shot it would disincentivize criminals from committing such acts. Surely if they are killed in the act they won't be a repeat offender. I have zero sympathy, none, for the criminal injured or killed in the act of committing a crime. Good riddance.

Instead of Syria, the House should vote instead to bomb the UN. They are a greater world threat.

imam Obama has given them plenty of reason to believe that.
IF we had an American president/congress they would stop the funding to the UN and just allow it to wither on the vine. Would be fun to watch.

NORMALIZE OPEN CARRY!

We no longer need to cower behind laws such as SYG. Bring the fight to them.

SHOW THESE NEANDERTHALS THAT WE’RE NOT AFRAID!

We will NOT be bullied by an international consortium protected with taxpayer-funded security teams.

What they’re saying is that “African Americans” are more likely to be subject to a crime victim defending themselves.

Truly, truly a racist assumption on the part of the UN.

They will not send blue helmets. They ones enforcing it will be your local police and the various federal sicherheitdiensts. People defending their rights will be labeled "cop killers" and hunted down. If it goes to violence look for a real bloodbath. Think Viet Nam. The US lost with 60,000 casualties, but the Vietnamese lost 2,000,000. Now substitute police for US, and partiots for Vietnamese
